When there I slather on the Hot Hot Hot Hoochie Coochie BBQ sauce and I'm in heaven...
While I lean to more of the "smokey" and sweet version of BBQ...my favorite name
for this sort of gastronomic chemistry is from a sauce marketed in
Northern Texas:
"Hell On The Red".

Excuse me. . .are we talking about REAL barbeque? Hello?! One must come to North Carolina for REAL barbeque!!
Include in the list of aforementioned North Carolina establishments:
Don Murry's, Raleigh, N.C.
John's Barbeque, Aberdeen N.C.

Best sweet sauce I have run across. Real barbeque (pig), of course.
For chain barbeque restaurants, Sonny's is consistently good.

Final post before I'm off to a bit of Saturday work:
I highly recommend "Woody's Cookin' Sauce"...marketed at least in Oklahoma/Texas.
That stuff is great for burgers and marinating even challenging meats like deer meat.

Great beef brisket, unbelievable pork ribs.
Local brewers have supplied the kegs (laurelwood)
Not to mention the homemade fried pies (ala Mcdonalds only ten times better, chocalate, cherry, etc.)

Are you the new posting police? No. Are you the new "Let's look up people's join date" police? Or the "I have no sense of humor" sheriff?
