Please click this link to see the most decisive ad in the war of words and pictures. I wish every American acan see this.
I am going to VH in a few weeks, I think Sammy would like to get a load of this video!
I like. I will see about spreading it.
Strategery is a Bushism (he may or may not have said it, but imitators use it all the time, I think it started on SNL).
Another one is "misunderestimate."
Bush supporters have adopted these malapropisms as our very own vocabulary.
Go ahead, misunderestimate GWB, it's all part of his strategery.
good political ad PING
Ugggghhhh....
and dial-up is SO slow today!
I will try....
Goldie Hawn? I had no idea.
There was one brief and fairly subtle political moment in the show, though it was easy to miss. During "Right Now," the video screen showed photos of George Bush under the message "Right now ... nothing is more expensive than regret." Unlike the reported reaction at Linda Ronstadt's controversial Las Vegas show, the aisles were not clogged with angry patrons storming the exits.
The above was from a review in the St Louis Post Dispatch of a VH show....maybe he is a Pub maybe he isn't? Still trying to figure it out.
Excellent!
bump for later
Hi, folks! I'm Ricky West and I created the video. Many thanks for all the kind words & kudos and a double thanks for redistributing it.
My one (and only) request is that if you plan on viewing it multiple times, you right click on the link & save to your hard drive....as you can guess, my bandwidth is going crazy & I don't want my provider to shut me down.
Thanks again to all and let's get Bush re-elected RIGHT NOW!
This is great! Excellent job.
"More people need to see this" ping...
Well we just to disagree on this point, because I really don't see this moving middle america or the swing voters in any way. This is something that only the politically active are going to be "getting"... which is largely not the swing voter.
It will be preaching to the chior to the right, ticking off the left, but do very little on the middle.
The strategy to move the middle is simple.. hit John Kerry with his behavior after returning from Vietnam... his lies before congress, have former POW's talk about how Kerry's own words were used against them, etc etc etc... As much as the leftist media likes to play that the anti war movement in the 60s and 70s was a majority, when in historical fact it wasn't and never was close....
The other is to simply show his record of doing nothing in 20 years in the senate.... show him claiming to know what's going on with National Security when he's missed over 2/3rds of the briefings... Show him flip flopping on the Iraq war etc etc etc.
This spot is not a good one to move the middle... its just going to either incite revelry or hatred by the two ends... but do nothing to swing the middle.
