Everyone in the country thought the first plane was some kind of awful accident and NBC was reportinging it "a small airplane has hit one of the towers."

The past two days RUSH has been the old RUSH. Focussed and remembering why he is so feared by the america haters.
I thought Hannity outdid himself on his radio show when he spoke with the swift boat vets and also did his interview with Rassmann to perfection.

He had the meeting before he went to the meeting.
And a meeting by the way that it seems McCain was a participant with the leadership of the RAT party. Daschle, Boxer, Reid, Kerry......

Everyone in the country thought the first plane was some kind of awful accident and NBC was reportinging it "a small airplane has hit one of the towers."Well, in fairness (though it makes me gag to be fair to the likes of traitor Michael Moore), I believe Moore's claim is that the president sat for seven minutes reading to schoolchildren after being told the second plane had hit.
Though of course, Moore is making a mountain out of less than a molehill. President Bush did the right thing, all the way.

Kerry nailed by his own words. (And a little checking on the timing of events). Thanks Carl Limbacher and Newsmax.
In the interest of accuracy, the 9/11 Commission Report, in the Executive Summary, times the hit on the Pentagon at 9:37. In the body of the report (Chapter 1, page 10) they time it at 9:37:46.
Thus it appears that the Senators sat there unable to think for 34 to 35 minutes.
In the CNN transcript, Kerry said that they were then told to evacuate, and immediately did. No mention of how long they stayed after the Pentagon was hit and when they evacuated.

Being able to calmly consider the situation while maintaining the facade of business as usual, rather than bolting from th room screaming "the sky is falling" as Kerry apparently would have, showed both the students, the attending press, and eventually, the world, that he does not panic.
Bush was also criticized for taking to long to strike back at the terrorists (the day before he did it, LOL). But imagine the "cowboy" smears if he just started shooting first and asking questions later.
Moore and his Kerry puppet are barking up the wrong tree here. While Moore can edit the film to show what he wants rather than the truth, the teacher actually in that room, who did not vote for him by the way, remarked how calmly he handled the situation.
Regarding Moore, he and his fantasy were remarked on by Andrea Mitchell this morning on Imus; "factually incorrect and misleading" were her terms for Moore's fantasy work. "Edits out of context sentences" and "documentaries are expected to be factual" also crossed her lips. Don't know what got into her this morning.

And let's not forgot what Edwards was doing that morning also
A good friend summed it up perfectly

So Edwards, a United States senator, would not leave his family. Good thing he wasn't a doctor, nurse, police officer or fire fighter. They don't have the option of staying with their family instead of doing their job.

http://www.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0407/21/lkl.01.html J. EDWARDS: What happened with me, Larry, is I dropped Emma Claire, my now 6-year-old daughter, off at school. I was on my way to -- in fact, I was just beside the Capitol on my way to the Senate office building when I received a call on my -- on my cell phone telling me what had happened in New York.
I went on in to the -- to my Senate office building. Then we saw the second plane hit, and, of course, the strike on the Pentagon. I left the Capitol, because I was worried about my family. I left the Capitol, went home. I was there for a period of time.
And, actually, after I was there for a fairly short period of time, the Capitol Police came to my home, knocked on the door, and said that they were gathering up senators to take us to a -- to a safe or secure location. And I said, "Well, what about my wife and my kids?" And they said, "Well, they'll stay here."
And I said, "Well, if they're staying here, I'm saying here." So...
KING: You didn't go.
J. EDWARDS: I did not go.

I'm also confused by the idea of a "sensitive war" on terrorism. What did Kerry really mean? Which of the following meanings of "sensitive" is he referring to? Inquiring minds need to know.
sensitive: Having keen sensibilities, tender, delicate, touchy, high-strung, tense, nervous, easily offended.
