I felt I should briefly say something to those interested in the schedule for the release of Volume V of the Dragon's Fury Sereis of novels since the date has slipped a couple of times from an orignal expectation of late June.
I lost my father on January 25th to heart disease, and then lost one of my brothers on July 3rd to cancer...he was 49 years old. We are grateful that they both have returned home and are with their Savior and with other loved ones who have passed on before...we are grateful that their suffering is now over...but we also miss them.
Understandably, time spent with them before they died, in making preparations for their funerals, and in taking care of their affairs have come between me and my original schedule for the last volume of the Dragon's Fury Series. I hope everyone will understand. I thank all for their patronage, interest and support of the work...and for their prayers. More than anything else, this series is about America and her great strengths, even in the midst of terrible hardship.
I know readers will enjoy Volume V. I plan for a late August or perhaps early September release now. I have about 150 pages to go as of this date.
God bless each of you, and may He continue to bless our Republic.
Sincerely,
Jeff Head

No worries, Jeff; lots of us here know that your life has been challenging of late. You have our sympathies, and we can certainly wait for volume 5. My main concern is that, if you take too long, you're book is going to be history instead of prophecy.
Travis McGee faces a similar problem with his new book, methinks! $;-)
Stay well,

Thankk you so much for your thoughts and prayers.
I am certainly still concerned about Red China, North Korea and how they could easily create or go down a path very similar to the overall geo-political scenario described in the series.
I pray we can yet avoid that.
I'm anxious to read Travis's second book as well. I know it will be a real barn stormer, and spot on to current events.

Don't let the date slipping worry you, Jeff. Our family has believed for a long time, family ALWAYS comes first.
Books can wait because of family situations but family can't wait because of books.
And your extended family (FR) CAN wait for your books.
When do we get access to the authorized boxed set with the author's signature on each book? ;^)

Thanks...I feel exactly the same way about family...but am now at a point where I feel good about continuing...and know both my Dad and brother would want me to.
I am actually hoping to put something together for Christmas for the entire series. Will just have to wait to see how things go.
Thanks for asking.

Thanks for the heads-up regarding Vol. V. While I am(and I'm sure all the readers of the
Dragon's Fury series are) eager to read the next novel, please take as must time as you need to bring your grand narrative arc to its successful and satisfying conclusion.
Also, though I may not have posted to the threads regarding the recent losses of your family members, please accept my deepest condolences, and know that prayers of supplication have gone up from the Palouse on behalf of you and your family to Our Father Creator in the name of Jesus Our Saviour.
Keep well.
To: exhaustedmomma
Thanks...I am considering it and looking at it as some type of special gift edition of the entire series...maybe in hard back.
Timing is goign to be tight.
