Do you think the rescue of Licorice the hamster was an attempt at penance for all the poor Vietnamese animals he slaughtered? Hmmm...

Man, Susan Estrogenwitch was just on Hannity and Colmes and she keeps saying over and over that these guys didn't serve with Kerry because they were on another boat, NEARBY, but she is spinning spinning spinning the truth.

Is there a problem with killing a fleeing Vietcong teen? It's certainly not medal-award-winning behavior - but it is seems reasonable to eliminate the enemy especially when they're hurt.

Don't get me wrong - I am not defending this as a medal - or any of his other actions or poses - but this action is okay by me.

Seriously, I heard somewhere, I mean heard then read.... that John Kerry himself said that he had shot a twelve year old boy in a hillside village and something about shooting at their dogs and women and children. Somebody has got to know more on this.

"My name is Steve Gardner. I served in 1966 and 1967 on my first tour of duty in Vietnam on Swift boats, and I did my second tour in '68 and '69, involved with John Kerry in the last 2 1/2 months of my tour. The John Kerry that I know is not the John Kerry that everybody else is portraying. I served alongside him and behind him, five feet away from him in a gun tub, and watched as he made indecisive moves with our boat, put our boats in jeopardy, put our crews in jeopardy... if a man like that can't handle that 6-man crew boat, how can you expect him to be our Commander-in-Chief?"
-- Steven Gardner

The above quote was from a press conference given at the National Press Club in Washington on May 4, 2004. You may view Steven’s comments at the following web site. Just scroll down to Steven’s picture and click on it.

http://www.swiftvets.com/index.php?topic=SwiftVetQuotes

Searching through that web site, you will find 250 men who served on Swift boats, including the entire chain of command above Lt. Kerry, agree with Steven Gardner that Kerry is not fit to be Commander-in-Chief. That compares to the 13 crew members who support his candidacy.

I just saw the croaking toad Susan Estrich "interviewing" one of these vets on Hannity and Colmes. She was going after this guy like she was deposing him. Doing the "isn't it true" type of questioning lawyers do. Interrupting him and basically calling him a liar. She didn't do to well. It was like watching a high powered lawyer grill your kindly old father.

Estrich has made a career out of being raped many years ago. She is creepy. And absolutely one of the most self-absorbed people I've ever seen.

I agree that the Bush campaign should focus only on Kerry's voting record and not his service, or even his testimony before Congress about his service. That is what Bush is doing, but he could be stronger in his condemnation of the Swift vets.

At the same time, what right does Bush have to criticize them? Bush didn't serve in Vietnam, he didn't serve alongside Kerry. What right does Bush have to tell these veterans to "shove it?"

What these Vets are saying is either true or it is not. Let the media investigation begin and let the chips fall where they may!

So you buy the dim spin that just because they weren't on the same boat, just boats that ran together closely on missions, the swift boat vets for truth don't know about Kerry?

"Kerry earned his Silver Star by killing a lone, fleeing, teenage Viet Cong in a loincloth."

While he certainly didnt merit a Silver Star....killing a fleeing VietCong was what he was being paid to do....

The VietCong 'teenagers' killed a lot of my bros in the 9th ID...they were very hard corps ENEMY soldiers...as were the girls...

If he torched a VC village and killed their animals...he was doing my guys a favor....

You should have seen what the big "Zippos" did...

What the hell you think war is about....letting the enemy go and stay fed and resupplied?

I dont like Kerry one bit....but if y'all think what Kerry did...was a war crime...there is gonna be a lot of other Vietnam vets gonna hang...and a lot of medals revoked...

IMO

"...how Kerry personally ordered the slaughter of small animals "

Ironically, this is what will cost him the election.
