I saw a clip where when Kerry was asked if he would have gone to war in Iraq, his reply was "You bet we might have."

The look on W's face is chilling. How anyone could criticize his actions at that moment is unfathomable.

What is sad is that I believe he WOULD have done every one of those things. What a little, small, childish, selfish, conniving, wishy washy, bastard John Kerry is.

This is the lamest issue! No matter how Bush reacted that day, somone would have complained. That this wacko Michael Moore theory has permeated the mainstream Democratic candidate, just goes to show you how desperate the Dems are.

I mean really, if Kerry has a problem with the policy Bush enacted after 9-11 that's one thing, but to go off on 5 minutes of the Presidents' administration is pathetic.

If he ever gets into office you probably will get to see his reaction.

I for one was very proud the way the president reacted during the initial minutes of knowing what was going on.

You could tell that he was weighing his options and tuning out the kids, but his mind was racing. He knew he had good people in place working on this and was grouping his thoughts.

If Andy Card had said,"We have nukes flying in from Russia, what do we do?" and he just sat there you would have reason to complain but no one was asking for guidance at that split second.

Nothing could be done without all the information.

I believe he and his people acted accordingly to the threat.

if he had done what kerry said HE would have done In a speech today), bush would have been accused of "terrifying the little childrean and running scared out the door.".

this is the final proof that michael moore is in charge of the dem party.

On an earlier thread on this topic there were quotes from a Kerry interview about his reaction on 911. He reported he saw the second plane hit the WTC and just sat with Daschl and Boxer unable to think. The next they knew the Pentagon was it. That was some 35 to 40 minutes later,,,he was UNABLE TO THINK FOR OVER HALF AN HOUR by his words.

This man is so low worms get dizzy looking down at him.

"I would have led a more sensitive war on terror," said Kerry.

My draft of a letter to the editor (anyone may feel free to use it, or modify it, as a letter to your local paper):

Before a gathering of journalists in Washington, DC, today, John Kerry criticized President Bush for his actions on 9-11-01, following the attack on the World Trade Center. Kerry accused Bush of not acting swiftly, but instead, choosing to continue to read to children in a Florida classroom.

First, it’s telling that Kerry is using Michael Moore’s propaganda as a playbook in his campaign. This has the whiff of desperation about it.

Secondly, where exactly was John Kerry that morning when America was under attack, and what was he doing?

In an interview on with Larry King on CNN, July 8, 2004 (http://www.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0407/08/lkl.00.html), Sen. Kerry was asked where he was the morning of September 11, and this is part of his response:

Kerry: “…And as I came in [to a meeting in Sen. Daschle’s office], Barbara Boxer and Harry Reid were standing there, and we watched the second plane come in to the building. And we shortly thereafter sat down at the table and then we just realized nobody could think, and then boom, right behind us, we saw the cloud of explosion at the Pentagon…” (emphasis added).

It should be noted that the second plane hit the World Trade Center at 9:03 a.m., and the plane hit the Pentagon at 9:37 a.m. By Kerry’s own words, he, and others, sat there for forty minutes, realizing “nobody could think.”

In other words, Sen. Kerry, who criticized President Bush for not rushing out of the Florida classroom for seven minutes, sat paralyzed with his colleagues for a full thrity-four minutes. He is hardly in a position to criticize President Bush for “inaction.”

I love that pic of Bush. He doesn't look scared, confused, dismayed.

He looks PISSED!!! I like that in a President.

"I would have excused myself from the classroom quickly"

English Translation: "I would have run screaming from the room."
