Lawyers for the DNC and Kerry-Edwards sent this letter to television station managers, claiming the Swift Boat Veterans For Truth ad is "false" and "libelous." Click here for the full letter (can't be pasted into Free Republic window).
So...leading voters to believe all those vets that came and stood behind Kerry at the DNC were all on his Swift Boat? Was that ever really addressed?
Swift boat vets are like holding a cross in front of the John Kerry/DNC/"Terry Mcauliffe" vampire
This post shows the actual fax. The other post only describes it.
The ad never claims that the men in thew ad were on the boat. The lawyers are just setting up a straw man to knock down. Clever to deny what hasn't been claimed.
If this threat had merit there would be an enforcable action against the Switf Boat Veterans organization and its 527 status. The last thing these sheisters want is to actually initiate litigation because of the discovery process. I hope the files for an injunction and restraining order against the DNC immediately.

This video is getting spread rapidly by email. I have received a few "thank yous" from people I forwarded it too. Now it is time to follow up with this outrageous crap from the gigolo and ambulance chaser.
Unless I am seeing things, I believe that the image in the background as each man speaks in the commercial is one of the same man in the often shown picture with Kerry in the group. It seems evident that the man in the picture and the one speaking in each instance are the same person; only older.
I think that makes it clear that these people were with Kerry in some capacity.
My guess is that most of it could be proven quite easily.

WRONG! the other post was comments as told by Rush. This is an actual article.
Just when I think Dems can't get any lower, they dig a hole in the dirt and crawl down.
Suing the media orgs that run it...NOT THE PEOPLE SAYING IT
Hmmm, and WHY is that?
Where to start on this? The members of the group did not state that they all served on Kerry's boat. They served in his flotilla. The letter says they claimed to have served on his boat - a deliberate lie by the authors of the letter. Having constructed their straw man, they can now dismiss the SWIFT boat veterans as liars. The letter also does not claim that the man who claimed to treat him for his 'wound' did not in fact treat him. It merely said that his name was not on the associated paperwork. This is another straw man argument. I was disappointed to not see Richard Mellon Scaife or Halliburton named specifically. Maybe after the ad is played a few more times they will start chewing the carpet and screaming.
Do we know the stations it was sent to?
My neighbor served on PBR boats (?) in the Mekong delta. He tells me that it was rare for him to go out with the same crew on every patrol.
According to this letter, you have to have served "on Senator Kerry's boat" to call him a liar.
Also, if the "doctor" was not Kerry's doctor, lets see the medical records to prove it.
Good explanation.
