Peggy rocks! I will miss her column.
God Bless You, and may the Bush-man win
Wow...talk about putting money where your mouth is...
I'd love to see her take over speech writing for President Bush because she is the most talented, persuasive writer in the business. No matter in what capacity she serves, she will be a tremendous asset.
I just traded Noonan books with my friend, Jill. She had WHEN CHARACTER WAS KING and I had THE CASE AGAINST HILLARY CLINTON. So we traded Peggy Noonan books. Jill said "Peggy sure has a way with WORDS!" I just love her. Peggy is so feminine and smart. She is the kind of woman I WISH I could be. I just adore her. Glad she is on OUR side!
Peggy's a patriot, and she's right. This war for our very existence. That rainy day is here. All hands at the helm, and let's pray that the feds and the NYC cops round up the terrorists way before they act.
Welcome back to the fight Peggy.
I hope she stomps the hell out of Chris Matthews...he DESTROYED her one night, very UNFAAAIRLY, I might add. He is such a nancy boy, I hope she mops the floor with him. Go Peggy!!!!
Go get 'em, Peggy. We'll miss your work at the WSJ, but we'll hopefully get to see it on the campaign trail.
We may need Peggy if Hillary comes
out from under her rock.
God Speed
Thank you Peggy!
We cannot all afford to take a leave but we must afford to take her lead. The President needs our time and our voices.
Reagan I and II were the most important election of our lifetime. Last election was probable next and this one is fourth.
Thank god for her. I wonder how she will help Bush. Will she work for the campaign in some official manner?
With no disrespect intended toward the Bush campaign as it exists, they certainly do need Peggy Noonan's skill, and at a higher level than she modestly posits. You can't not need the political skills she possesses, whether in the form of speechwriting or sound bites.
I've long been a big fan of Ms. Noonan's writing, so I hope her fans will forgive me when I opine that lately she's become a little maudlin, a little self-absorbed, a little unfocused. I think it's because she was feeling a bit out of the loop. Today's column is excellent, vintage Noonan -- I think because of her enthusiasm for rejoining the battle.
Good on you, Peggy.
Woo-hoo! Go get em girl! And remember what I said - if you are ever stranded in DC or just need a chaueffer to Reagan, Dulles etc.

A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, but the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness. The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.
Proverbs 15:1-3
Ain't nobody who uses soft answers and knowledge as rightly as Peggy!
