Any late night shows talking about this yet?
And no jumping the shark jokes, please.
Thanks for serving.
I read from your profile that we should not second-guess Kerry's war record.
What do you make of this article?
It's amazing that Kerry has gotten away with his Vietnam lies for as long as he has. The man has no honor or itegrity whatsoever. It seems the true story of this "War Hero" is finally coming out. The mainstream media will of course do their best to twist this and defend Kerry, though with this much damning evidence, that will not be an easy task.
The Swift Boat Vets will definetly be getting a donation from me.
"It only takes one idiot to raze a village! (My original response)"
LOL! And a fine response that is, too.
Wow, how Clinton-like this guy is.
Luxury. I was already toughing it out in Nam. See Post #42.
He's giving them their 15 minutes of fame.
Thanks to fellow Freepers (among others), I just made some money upon the release of my book. I had earmarked those funds to go to the Bush/Cheney campaign. God bless their efforts, but I now have a new destination for those funds. Swfit Boat Vets, the check is on the way.
Funny how we know so little about his mother and father. Clinton's life was an open book, yet Kerry's is still under wraps.
"I tried downloading it a couple of times but always got a "website busy" message."
Ooooo- that's good!
"My belief is that Kerry's Vietnam service should be seen as honorable. Those of us fortunate enough to have returned home were subjected to second guessing by others who did not serve and who did not have the least bit of perspective on warfare."
After reading this.....do you still believe Kerry is "Honorable"?
They had Evinrudes in Vietnam?
I really hate saying this very cynical thing, as I'm very pro-military and pro-soldier (even if they're Democrats), but the amount of purple hearts that went to this guy for a 4-month stretch of time where he had NO surgeries or major wounds sounds so very suspect! I mean, in comparison, Audie Murphy lost most of his hip and Bob Dole lost the use of one of his hands. Plus, I doubt that these men carried around the "purple heart" handbook the way this opportunistic guy apparently did ("what qualifies as a purple heart and what amount of medals can get you out of service early"). They also didn't run around with home movie cameras recording their actions and I never remembered them continually bragging about their service in any case (in fact, it seemed painful for them to even talk about it). The reason why Kerry's actions bug me as much as they do, however, are due to his anti-war activism after the war. It's just not soldier-like for him to have regressed to the Jane Fonda level the way he did and for that I cannot accept this charade of his Vietnam war service that he's been throwing out there, what appears to be daily, since he announced he was running.
Kerry, follow me no closer than a thousand yards. If you get any closer, Ill teach you what a real Purple Heart is.
In order to survive, one must know which "friendlies" to avoid also.

Maybe I'd better change my profile. LOL.
This is strong testimony by men who actually served with Kerry.
Your question is a fair one, but I have to answer that I can change my mind (or what I have written in my profile) only when ALL the facts have been presented.
Self ping for later.
Very good question. Please see #56.
He's still missing meetings.
