I guess I can see your point, I mean, after all, it's hard to pity a team with 52 playoff victories (NFL record), 8 conference championships (NFL record), and 5 Super Bowl victories (tied with the forty whiners for NFL record).

And I'm not a Cowboy fan, per se....but you can't argue the results this franchise has acheived, and maintained for four decades.
