Which confirms my suspicion that monkeys are degenerated people, rather than the other way around as "evolution" theory proclaims. Back then was no welfare system and democRATS, so those who were lazy were left behind living in the trees and eating ready food, bananas, etc.
Oh, dear God! Sounds like Romulus and Remus.
They should have named him Teresa.
Romulus and Remus made something of themselves. Andrei sound like your typical post-communist slacker to me.

No mention of what happened to the dog...?
The dog is a hero for saving the boys life.
My ex wife claimed I was raised by wolves, what's the big deal? :)
So, what happened to the dog?
In it's Junior year at Dartmouth College.
Truely, it is so hard to be different...
He is a blamless child, abandoned by his parents, where's your compassion?
But to your point of communist slackers. I just made my morning cappucino run. The young man at the checkout counter was listening to a radio station that was ranting about the Fortune 500 companies running this country.
So I asked him, have you ever been to a country that does not have a "Fortune 500"? Being just a kid, he of course said no. I told him I have have. They stand in line in the snow for hours waiting for their ration of government toilet paper. And it's not Charmin. You should thank God that there is a Fortune 500. Gave him something to think about.
So the Siberian kid raised by the dog was malnourished. I guess that means he wasn't Husky.
If the Russians are not careful, these sort of conditions could spawn new terrierist activity.
You mean, you think there were just humans at first, and we are descendents of the more ambitious of them, and monkeys are descendents of the lazier of them? By the way, we and monkeys can't now interbreed.
Why, that's evolution!
They should definitely take this kid to the doctor for some Lab work.
The dog showed more sense than many humans.
Its too bad they were unable to locate his mother and retriever.
That's 49, in dog years.
