Somewhere in America, a little girl is not eating shrimp vindaloo, grilled diver sea scallops, prosciutto-wrapped stuffed chicken, and steak salad for lunch.
Somewhere in America, greedy lawyers are eating high on the hog, and carefully wiping their mouths so as to hide the evidence from hungry eyes.

I see no problem with the pre-ordered food. Sounds better then Wendy's fare.
Come on folks, it's all about the photo op. Lest we forget the Kerry line jump at Ronald Reagan's funeral.
It's a Made For TV campaign without the laugh track.

Yes, you're right about the photo-op issue, and yes, you're right about the food issue, but you miss the point. The story illustrates an inept attempt of a lame elitist fop trying to come off as "the common man" -- a man who cannot bring himself to eat the same food as the people he's trying to imitate. A particular episode of "Frazier" comes to mind on this one.

Is a $10 lunch really considered "fancy"?

..my advice to Edwards is to keep Liz the hell away from Wendy's...I'd say Wendy's should keep Liz the hell away, from their restaurants. One convenient slip n' fall would probably cover hubby's campaign expenses.

..is this the same Wendy's where the marine incident happened??...Yep. And I think that little lunch stop showed up two of Kerry's biggest failings- he's got poor judgement, and he's accident-prone.

IMO why this is getting out:
People keep talking about a Kerry implosion in late August so Hitlery can have the ticket. I don't think so.
They are feeding on their own and it's Frenchy. Hillary couldn't get elected right now. Most sheeple still don't want that. We are not ready for a woman president particularly that one. Not on the heels of the whole gay-marriage nightmare.
The Dem establishment is squawking about the Republican attack machine in liberal papers by liberal writers while giving us Johnboy in his own words looking dumber by the day. If Kerry is elected that reduces Hillarys chances of a run to practically nil in 2008 and probably less in 2012. They can stall or try to stall W for 4 more years and take over.

Most hard working blue collar types are pro-gun, pro-life, pro-marriage (man and woman) and strong on defense which is diametrically opposed to the union's party of choice. I read a few years ago that about 40% of the trade union members vote Republican. Government employee unions, on the other hand . . .
Whatever happened to Beck, by the way? I thought Bush rescinded Clinton's EO not to enforce, but I haven't heard of notices being reposted in workplaces.

My advice to Edwards is to keep Liz the hell away from Wendy's.Nah. Liz is gonna come in handy when he starts suing the Fast Food industry. He can use Liz as exhibit 'A'.
