With the new trade agreement with Australia and this revelation all the more reason to enjoy Aussi wine.

Too bad the CEO doesn't realize that for the Kerry's Lennox table ware and Waterford crystal is only good enough for their servants.

I admit that I am biased against SC - it was my first drunk and first hangover (at 14, filched and downed an entire bottle from my older brother's party). Horrid, horrid stuff.

I'm the same about Seagrams-7, can't stand to even smell the stuff and that happened about 35 years ago.

I also like Jekel.

I'm with you - Australian (and NZ) wines offer a great combo of quality and value.

Go with either Maker's Mark or Jim Beam. Both very good whiskeys

Woodford Reserve

I think I'm gonna be sick. He is only the distributor. I think I'll email the company.

What do you think of the new Stargate Atlantis? I don't like all the little kids and families. It has that Star Trek TNG feel to it.

I refuse to boycott any product because of someone's politics.

I just sent out a number of email complaints to some of the companies. Hope it will do some good as it did with Whoopsie.

Oddly, I haven't seen it. My cable service here doesn't offer the Sci-Fi Channel. But a friend is TIVOing them for me and I'll watch them when I return home from my contract job (probably around Election Day).

Knob Creek is great just splashed over ice, too.

Yes it is! And I can find it in my town for only $1 more than a bottle of Jack.

I refuse to boycott any product because of someone's politics.

I understand and respect your viewpoint, and I'm really not a big one for these kind of boycotts. I'm also enjoying the light-hearted approach to the issue that many of the posters on this thread have adopted.

That said, do you really mean that you wouldn't boycott "any" product over politics? What if Michael Moore came out with, I don't know, a BBQ sauce that was fabulous, best out there. Would you stil it?

I have never been to any of Tillman's establishments. May have to keep it that way.

End of my message was garbled. Question was: would you still buy it (Moore's product)?

OK, we'll cut some slack for hard-core JD fans. On a serious note, it's kind of sad to see such a great American institution being taken over by these French-appeasing wimps.

Of course I would buy it, if I liked it. I usually don't buy new products though, as I have those I am happy with. I purchase products because of the product.
