Also in article 86% of the moviegoers dissaprove of Bush (as opposed to 49-49 split in Anneberg survey).

83% of moviegoers dissaprove of Bush on the WOT vs. 48% in complete survey.

Only 8% of all Americans have seen this pile of rubbish.

I wasn't really worried about Moore influencing too many people. Anyone that is stupid enough to be influenced by him are also the sort that are too stupid to mark their ballots correctly. They're the same sort that couldn't follow the arrow to mark their candidate on the FL ballots.

Actually I'd suspect 2% saw the movie four times.

I don't use the word hate often, but I actually hate Michael Moore. I don't even hate Kerry. I hate Moore....and O.J. Simpson.

Would be curious to know 2 things:

1) how many independents came away disgusted at Moore's propaganda and now associate him with Kerry, and

2) how many on the rabid left burnt out their hatred of Bush with this (ie. will sit at home in front of the tele on election day)

He may not get a documentary award this year because Cuban state television televised the movie last Thursday. Breaking the rule that no movie should be aired on the internet or television while it's still in theaters.

He may not get a documentary award this year...

The thing that drives me crazy is the frequent use of documentary to describe this mess.

About 8 percent of Americans have seen Michael Moore's anti-Bush blockbuster, "Fahrenheit 9/11" ...

You don't have to be a mathematician to see that this doesn't add up. Bring some simple calculation to bear upon this supposition and it looks rather unlikely.
Know if you told me that Moore made this claim then I would understand.

The two groups are roughly equal in size — 8 percent of Americans have seen the Moore film and 7 percent listen to Limbaugh — but the survey noted that Limbaugh may have more impact since he's on the air five days a week, three hours a day, while most will see the movie only once.

One of the complaints of dems about Rush is that he reaches too many of their own, and they are being converted. The other problem is the make-up of the audiences. Rush has excellent demographics. My guess is that Moore's are more fringe than mainstream.
