Buy Burkett's book "Stolen Valor". Keep in mind that the book was first published in 1998. Back then Burkett was already writing about some of Kerry's VVAW buddies and that some of the members of that group were not even in Vietnam or must have made up their atrocities stories.

On page 135 Burkett writes about Kerry's phoney throwing of his "medals". He also says "Kerry did not return from Vietnam a radical antiwar activist. Friends said that when Kerry first began talking about running for office, he was not visibly agitated about the Vietnam War. "I thought of him as a rather normal vet," a friend said to a reporter.

Burkett also writes that "Kerry's emotional, from-the-heart speech had been carefully crafted by a speechwriter for Robert Kennedy named Adam Walinsky, who also tutored Kerry on how to present it".

My personal opinion of John Kerry is that he is a mentally unbalanced man who has had an almost stalking like desire to become John F. Kennedy. And that since he met Kennedy as a young man Kerry has seen himself as the same as JFK. I think John Kerry is a person that has delusions of grandeur and thinks he has some manifest destiny to be the president. But never had the chance until a series of strange events put him within reach of the presidency. If not for the manufactured insanity of the 2000 election and the generated hatred of George W. Bush Kerry would never be in the running. I also think that the Clinton's "supported" Kerry because they already knew that they could cut Kerry to pieces with his Vietnam history.

Lookee what I found:

USA Today Friday June 25,2004 page 8A
Letters

"I was the commanding officer to whom Kerry reported his injury on Dec. 3, 1968. I had confirmed that there was no enemy fire that night and that Kerry had simply wounded himself playing with an M79 grenade round that he fired too close. ""

"" Kerry demanded a Purple Heart and I refused....the base physician treated Kerry and also confirmed that the scratch was self inflicted while Kerry was playing with an M79.""

"" Kerry orchestrated his way out of Vietnam and then testified, under oath, before Congress that we , his comrades, had committed horrible war crimes. This testimony was a lie and slandered honorable men. We, who were actually there, believe Kerry is unfit to command our sons and daughters. ""

Signed,

Grant Hibbard, retired commander
U.S.Navy, Gulf Breeze, Fla.

Louis Leston, M.D.
retired lt commander
Medical Corps, U.S. Navy Reserve
Scottsboro, Ala.//

END

Wow. It's really looking like Kerry fraudently avoided further combat service by getting improper purple hearts. THe question now is "who authorized these purple hearts"? Kerry really needs to release all his military records. This story appears to be true, and, if so, will have legs.

What do the Vets have to back this stuff up? It has to be more than he said/she said or the lib media will create a backlash against Bush.

I encourage you to follow the link at 206 and evaluate the demeanor and composure of these men. Wild-eyed zanies they are not. They are sober and adult and all think John Kerry is absolutely unfit to serve as POTUS.

Hopefully this time they will get the attention they deserve.

New rules. Someone needs to make a "documentary" entitled "Swift Kick in the Boat" or something provocative.

Seriesly. Books don't cut it. F911 and Outfoxed (or whatever that other one is) are the new trend in exposure.

The difference is that the Conservatives are hamstrung because we will insist on the truth and real facts -- something with which that the Left totally is unfamiliar.

It's all coming home to roost for the Dems. They never vetted Kerry from the get-go. All they wanted was a candidate the sooner the better. Once Dean imploded, the media as much as orchestrated Kerry's candidacy less the examination of the man and his record. The liberal pundits and media elite bragged incessantly about the so-called "unity" of their party and they manufactured the "unity" by pushing Kerry over the finish line in expedient fashion, again without the anal exam. This is exactly what happens to a political party which allows itself to be ruled by the raw emotions of hatred/angst/hostility/malice.

The Kerry ticket is imploding before our very eyes. The more that is revealed about this man, et al - namely his wife, the more this man dives in the polls. The American people are still in discovery mode with this guy and the more they discover the more they are repulsed. His record in the Senate hasn't even been exposed yet by the brilliant BUSH campaign. It's only going to get worse for Kerry. His handlers now have to shut and lock the attic door on his lovely and gracious wife because she's an accident waiting to happen each and every day. America is just getting to know this woman and they are not endeared.

He was not vetted, nor his wife, nor his dubious Senate record, nor his service for that matter as revealed on the Drudge wire tonight.

It's over for Kerry! But the real story evolving, especially after tonights revelation, is the Dems hasty coronation of Kerry which began immediately following the caucus in Iowa. I'm certaintly convinced, the Democrats are the party of STUPID!

I never go there, but since you mentioned it, I took a look. It's a pretty scary place. I wondered if you were the poster who posted the Drudge story. Those people are amazing for their lack of knowledge. I guess they all must depend on CNN.

I hope they rip Kerry a new one - in front of the whole-wide-world.

Special delivery to CNN and Jacques Chirac in living color!

Someone's shopping this book around in emails. Looks like the guy is printing 'em in his garage. Disgusting stuff and I wish I could track down this "ex USAF pilot's" background.

I'd bet a sizable chunk of change that you are right except for when it comes to Bill and Hillary Clinton. They knew all of this. And probably more.

"They hired a goddamn private investigator to dig up trash!" charged a top Kerry adviser traveling with the senator late Tuesday. "This is pay for play, and the dirtiest of all dirty tricks ever played on a candidate for the presidency. How low can they go?"

This will get nasty. Kerry has made Vietnam and his decorated hero status the centerpiece of his campaign. He has initimidated his political opponents for 25 years using this tactic. Kerry is not used to anyone attacking him on his sacred ground. He is screaming like a stuck pig.

We will see what the result will be in terms of the electorate. Kerry can put an end to this by authorizing release of his complete service records, including his medical records detailing his injuries.

Whatever happens, Kerry is now on the defensive just like he tried to put GWB on the defensive concerning his National Guard service. Also, I hope this shines the spotlight on Kerry's antiwar activities. The swift boat vets are more incensed about that then they are about his phony medals and bugging out. Bring it on.

"Where did you get that book?"

Amazon.com about 3 months ago.

I just got David Bosie's new book from Amazon-
" The Many Faces Of John Kerry " and haven't had time to go through it, in depth.
Did find this from page 3:

When Kerry first decided to run for Congress from Massachusetts in 1972- he couldn't decide which district he wanted to represent.
So, he district shopped.
He claimed various congressional districts as his home.

" The Boston Globe reported that Kerry tried on congessional districts like suits off the rack."

The Lowell Sun, in March 1972 reported that Kerry
" has gone from the Third Congressional District
to the Fifth,
to the Seventh
to the Fourth and now apparently back to the Fifth."

This became known as " Kerrymandering."
