Once again, gay activists show they are the enemies of freedom of speech and thought. The thought police have been incredibly effective in their long march through the culture.

"I'm really offended that you're even here," a delegate wearing the rainbow emblem of the NEA Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Caucus told a supporter of the new NEA Ex-Gay Educators Caucus.

Such tolerance and inclusiveness is touching.

"Ex-gay messages have no place in our nation's public schools," Mr. Jennings said in a publication of the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network. "A line has been drawn.

Mr. Jennings (of GLSEN) has covered his eyes and ears in an attempt to block the truth that thousands have left the homosexual lifestyle.

I would imagine the ignorant NEA folks are never interested in help.

Of course not, only perverse homosexual, bi, transgendered and who-know-what else deviant sexual behavior should have a place in our schools (/sarcasm)

Not only can they not tolerate ex-homosexuals, but their comment indicates they cannot even accept the fact that ex-homosexuals exist. And that is sad.

A very worthwhile core stance. If only people would listen...

Why do we even have to hear about their sexual preferences? NEA is not very high on my list of respected organizations...

I kept a pretty good eye on who exactly were my children's teachers...and their agendas while they were teaching.

We are all busy doing our OWN jobs every day, and parents shouldn't have to worry that their children are being subjected to influences they don't agree with or condone.

The "tolerance" of the Left is an amazing thing to behold. But as they've come to apply convenient definitions of words all the way down to "is," it isn't even clear that we're speaking the same language anymore.

These homo-nazis have the gall to say this:

The truth - that a person doesn't have to be "gay" - undermines their agenda. So they want to doom thousands of kids to the "gay" life. That's where the hopelessness, depression, drug and alcohol abuse, and suicidal tendencies come from. Not from societal disapproval.

If kids are told the truth, they'll have hope.

It seems the message to be gained from this article is:

"It is no longer enough to have the right to be gay--it is now required!"

Do you suppose at the NEA convention they discuss such boring things as reading, writing, and math?

Of course they are not open to learning, The truth may be exposed, they couldn't have that happen! The very concept of homosexuality flies in the face of every logical argument known to man, even if every person on earth would give up the fight against their perverse way of life nature itself would literally scream opposition at them! homosexuality has no redeemable qualities whatsoever period! keep it out of the schools!

Kinda reminds me of the tactics of Jessie Jackson. According to Jennings we need to keep folks where they are and never give 'em hope.
