President Bush signed the United States-Australia Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act today in a ceremony in the White House Rose Garden. Later in the day, Bush headed to speak at the 122nd Annual Knights of Columbus in Dallas, Texas. The President praised the group for its continued work with communities. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura Bush, along with daughters Barbara and Jenna, greeted workers in New York City who work in buildings mentioned in the latest terror attacks. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

THANK YOU! I've been on FR for years and it's only lately that MSM has been popping up. Guess I didn't get the memo.

I agree with your assessment!
My only concern relative to the Republican Convention is the MSM! I just know they paln to give the demonstrators 90% of their attention and the Republicans (President Bush) 10% -- THINK CHICAGO 1968!!!!

How can people, honestly, NOT like Laura Bush?!?! Or how can they have NO feelings for her. She is so sincere, so warm, and so honest. It's one thing to not like her husband, but no one can honestly tell me a negative thing about this classy classy lady.
She hit a homerun in the O'Reilly interview.
Two favorite quotes from the interview: Laura: "I told them (Jenna and Barbara) to stand up straight and keep their hair out of their eyes. I didn't think to tell them not to stick their tounges out at the press."
Laura: "Did he (George) ever save a hamster? I don't think so."

You are so correct. When we meet people in public and the subject of the elections comes up, we need to have our facts straight and clearly state the differences between these two men. I like to print articles from the Website that published them. (
ie - Washington Post, Washington Times) and use them to back up my point, whether it's a case against the bias media, or a case supporting George W. Bush.
I can't tell you how many people I have won over by using printed facts from sources like a Senate investigation, or the White House Website.
I had a guy tell me that George W. Bush said Saddam was involved in the 9/11 attacks, he claimed George W. Bush said it during his SOTU speech. I told him that I would by him dinner at any Restaurant of his choice if he could show me the quote. I told him that every word George W. Bush has uttered in public since he became President can be found at www.whitehouse.gov, I even showed him how to access the files. two days later he admitted he was wrong, that's when I showed him how biased the WP and the NTY's are, and told him he was being used by the left :-)

Oh yes, I agree about the MSM and the demonstrators, however maybe I am being overly optimistic. I really think that Americans are tired of that crap, for lack of a better term, and I think it will open some of their eyes to the anti-Americanism out there. And that is what many of these protesters are-- anti-American!

I'm a volunteer and I've recruited 17 people to sign up and donate to the Bush/Cheney campaign, I sure wish I could go to the convention, or at least a ticket to attend a campaign rally in my area :-)

You might start here:
http://www.teachersforbush.com/Education/ Just tell her to be sure and NOT just blindly believe what the teacher's unions say about him. I am a teacher myself, and you wouldn't believe the propaganda that they put out. (And I don't even belong to the union.)
