President Bush signed the United States-Australia Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act today in a ceremony in the White House Rose Garden. Later in the day, Bush headed to speak at the 122nd Annual Knights of Columbus in Dallas, Texas. The President praised the group for its continued work with communities. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura Bush, along with daughters Barbara and Jenna, greeted workers in New York City who work in buildings mentioned in the latest terror attacks. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

GIve him a copy of Zell Miller's "A PARTY NO MORE". If that does open his eye try either of DIck Morris's books.

SOme people can read the Bible but not relate it to everyday life...and both Miller and Morris tells it like it is.

That's VERY interesting about Kerry's new religion advisor. It's obvious he would approve of taking, "under God," out of the pledge.

Love your tagline. Do you think Kerry would negotiate through talks or do you think he would lob a couple of missiles at a factory and declare defeat?:)

Unfortunately I'm not going to be going to the convention in NYC. I don't have the money and I since learned it would be difficult for me to get in as only delegates and volunteers can get in.

I've had that same problem with co-workers!
But even though some of them are nuts, I've been able to convice 90% of them to vote for Bush this time out, even the dems! That's a start! In 2000, I convinced all but 2 people in my department to vote Bush. This time I think it's more important, so I've doubled my efforts!
We'll see what we can get done. It can be discouraging, but I just can't get down about it. I feel too good about our chances!
I'm off to bed, talk to you all later! Thanks so much for welcoming me into the Dose!!

I did apply to volunteer, but it was late. I had some problems with my e-mail so I didn't get the schedule fot the welcome orientations (Which was mandatory) so I was rejected.

I would like to get a copy of Zell's book for myself. I haven't read it yet. I also have been wanting to read the 9/11 report. I love to read! But I am very slow in getting around to it. Of course, 3 young children keep me from doing it.:)

I almost hate to see Keyes run here. It could give him a tarnishing experience, and at this point let's face it, Obama pretty much has it in the bag.

What IL Republican party?

Thanks for the response.

Do you know some who does A/C work and is cheap?

A guy who said he could fix it, didn't have a clue about working on a system that has to under pressure you add the refrigerant. If I told you some of the things he's done, you'd laugh your head off! I have.

But now I need to get the A/C fixe.....I can't do my little biz without having some way to pull some of the heat out of that van.

Thanks in advance.

Truthy

LOL That bad huh? I don't think he will beat Obama, but I would love to see the debates between the 2 and I think it would be interesting for blacks to compare and contrast the two men and their ideas. The more conservative blacks that we put before their communities the better. It might help slowly turn the tide.

Kerry would negotiate until the cows come home, when he ran out of enemies to negotiate with he would negotiate with our allies. The fact is John Kerry has never made a principled stand in his entire life. He was on both sides of the Vietnam War and it made him famous, he has played both sides of every issue since and now he is the Nominee for the Democrat Party, why should he quit now?

Yep, you're right. It's worked for him so far. But what a sad and pathetic character it has turned him into. The best depiction I have seen of him is the picture of his face imposed on the scarecrows body from the wizard of Oz. "If I only had a brain"
