The question is: "Is Kerry sticking his bony, well-manicured, girly, index finger in the chest of the Marine pictured here?"
The answer is "No."
After optimizing the pic with Photoshop and Image Optimizer, what looks like Kerry's finger is actually the top piece of a wooden frame that holds a mirror and is attached to the window.
There is another mirror just like it behind the Marine, to the right of his elbow.
Does Kerry have "turkey-neck" or is that part of the hanging plant just behind him?
Come on, another conspiracy theory? Whose finger is it? Lot's of kerry supporters on FR.

I disagree with your analysis for some of the reasons already stated on this thread: appearance in front of lapel, incorrect perspective when compared to actual picture hanging to the right, and if it is a mirror that we see then why is it have exactly the same level of luminance as the windows itself...
Another fraud posting on FR? We all know the press photog's click and click with their auto cameras. This one was caught. I'm sure he was just adjusting the angle of his eye's, just like the Clinton photos a few years ago. Of course, everyone makes much ado about nothing.
Please explain where you see four fingers pointing back at kerry, or did I misunderstand? If it is not his finger covering the marines collar, just what is?

This has to be one of the most idiotic posts ever on FreeRepublic. But I'm glad you've highlighted this picture again. Everyone needs to see Kerry sticking his finger in a good Marine's chest. Just like he stuck it in the eye of every Vietnam vet.
From the look on the Marine's face it is understandable that people just assumed SKerry was poking his finger in his chest.
