I'm driving home from work and at the top of the hour ABC News comes on. Their lead story is allegations of prisoner abuse at GITMO. Prisoners claiming they were thrown in rat infested cages, kicked and punched repeatedly, blah, blah, blah. At the end of the story they say the Defense department denies the allegations and that there is no way to prove/validate the claims. Then why the hell is that their lead story?!? I thought the news media was supposed to report FACT not rumors and allegations.
We could call it "ABC Allegations"....
This is why the media is the most dangerous entity in the world. They are powerful anti-american propagandists. They'd rather have these terrorists released and pose a grave threat than get useful information which could save millions of American lives.
The mainstream media is the al-jazeera of america.
And where would the news media have gotten these "allegations" -- other than from "thin air," I mean?
BTW, ABC Radio News (which I assume you're referring to) is about as biased a "news source" as there is. NPR is far more balanced than ABC Radio News.
This from the same network that pulled a story about Lurch's mob money from their website. Poor bored reporters. I guess since Abu Ghraib fizzled they really haven't had a whole lot to do-I mean, it's not like we're closing in on Osama or anything like that, right?
From a couple Brits that were released (per ABC radio).
They should have just shot them.
Just tune into HBO's Real Sex and you will see much more sick stuff than the Iraq prison photos. And guess what, HBO's Real Sex is almost exclusively shot in San Fransisco, where you cannot walk 2 feet without running into a flaming pervert. As we all know, Kerry will carry the Bay area by about 50 points.
Well, we have known for some time that the cells at Gitmo are "rat infested".
Who cares if terrorists are mistreated? How about the 3,000 AMERICANS on 9/11/2001?
How about 1,000,000 Iraqi's?
This is a scandal?
I am concerned about the timing of this leak.
Licorice: "Please. Give me a break. I know rat-infested cages.
Nutcase Jennings and his ilk, and my savior, John Kerry, sometimes go completely goobers.
Those were not rat-infested cages, but the means to liberate millions of Iraqi humans."
Doesn't ABC stand for Allegations Broadcasting Corporation? I think they use the same type broadcaster that farmers use to spread manure.
There they go again.
This is all political.
Nice pic of Ron Reagan Jr. eating a corn chip.
