Do you have close conservative friends?
----
Yes. I cultivate conservative friends. It's an important part of my life. You may know that i wrote a biography of Barry Goldwater, and made many conservative friends during that adventure.
-----

One of my liberal friends is pro choice by not for herself she is pro life when it comes to her own body....it's little inconsistencies like this that bug the hell out of me ....
-----
No inconsistency. It's not like liberals want to force OTHERS to get abortions. Just to give them the right to chose. I'm pro choice when it comes to listening to Michael Bolton albums but anti-Michael Bolton when it comes to my own personal listening.
-----

Or a liberal friend who loves tax cuts but will vote Kerry knowing our taxes are going way up if he is in office come January....

-----
Bush will raise taxes in his second term unless he wants the world economy to collapse, is my opinion. And, of course, for most people taxes HAVE gone way up these past four years: the kind of local tax hikes muncipalities have had to impose to make up for the missing federal funds.

"Bush will raise taxes in his second term unless he wants the world economy to collapse, is my opinion."

That's something you don't know and are therefore making up. The argument that he must raise taxes or bankrupt the word economy is straight out of the 1190 playbook used effectively on his father. In 2001 when he got his first tax cut passed (between China downing the EP3 and the 9/11/01 attacks) I had all sorts of clever people trying to convince me that Bush had raised taxes. When that little bit of associative technique failed, they insisted he WOULD raise taxes....just like his father.

In September 2001 I knew enough to accurately predict the push for would commence almost immediately to pay for war and fend off national bankruptcy. They commenced. <

We'll wait and see what the president does, not prognosticate on what he may or may not do based on what his father did.

That's a pretty straightforward answer.

So, do you believe that what grows inside the womb during pregnancy is a human being, or not? If it's not a human being, what species is it? If it is a human being, why is it legally permitted to kill him or her on the basis of "choice?"

Care to provide some evidence that without increasing taxes on the American people that the world economy is going to tank?

First a committed liberal NEVER likes tax cuts because it takes money out of the gummit trough. Second, you have no concept of economics and are stuck in the zero sum game. The multiplier factor of tax-cuts is growing us out of the deficit, just as it was lowered 100B in 6 mos.
