I'm stuck on this drawing with the plane.

I enlarged the copy of the building, but don't know how to post it here. On the tower to the right, in the upper corner, when enlarged it looks to me like the letters "TX".

If it's TX, the Reliant Astrodome may fit the bill:

Astrodome is best likeness I've seen so far . . . yesterday I tried matching the drawing up to all major NYC bridges . . . nothing fit as well as your pic of the Astrodome . . .

As someone pointed out, the drawing of the DC-10-type aircraft is very well done, so one might infer that the target building is also drawn accurately . . .
