Credit: The Cabal The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger. "Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix." We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research. I was just thinking outloud and posing a question. I read what you wrote here on the internet, it must be true.
LOL!
For ANFO, yes. Loaded with a higher energy explosive, no.
Also an ambulance might be able to get closer to a building than a fuel tanker...
Ping myself so I can find the thread again
Over here!
That's interesting. Can anyone find out what the phase of the moon will be on Sept. 2nd 2004?

JAMMU, Aug 3: A young woman was beheaded by the militants in Lassana area of Surankote last night while a blast rocked Chatral in Mendhar in Poonch district today without causing any casualties or damage.
Meanwhile, two militants of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) today surrendered before security forces at Bhaderwah in Doda district this morning.
Official sources said three militants came to the house of Mohd Azam at village Lassana in Surankote tehsil last night and kidnapped his 25-year old daughter Shamshad Begum wife of Mohd Safeer. The militants took the woman to a nearby field, beheaded her and escaped.
Shamshad Begum had come to the house of his father only a couple of days back. Her husband was working in Mumbai.
A police party from Surankote headed by DySP (Operations) P R Shan rushed to the village this morning and sent the body for post-mortem. Body was later handed over to his family.
No reasons could be ascertained behind the killing, the sources said, adding the civilians are being killed by the militants describing them as informers.
Police and security forces have started a search operation for the militants, two of whom are believed to be the locals.
Same group of militants also attempted to kill another civilian Mohd Mahroof son of Shaffi Khan at Lassana after beheading Shamshad Begum, the sources said, adding Mahroof immediately jumped in the grown up makki crop.
The militants chased and fired upon him but he managed to survive with minor injuries. He reached Surankote this morning.
Meanwhile, two local militants Mudasar Nazir alias Abbu Adil son of Abdul Mazid Mir R/o Bharti and Ashiq Hussain Bhatt alias Abu Harif son of Ghulam Qadir Bhatt R/o Kilotran today surrendered before security forces in Bhaderwah.
They handed over one AK rifle, one AK magazine, 20 rounds, one SLR rifle and two hand grenades at the time of surrender.
Meanwhile, a powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) went off at village Chatral in Mendhar at 7.45 am today. A Road Opening Party (ROP) of the Army had a narrow escape in the blast.
Blasting by GREF authorities at Dargaloon in Mendhar was mistaken by the people as another explosion. However, a police party which reached the spot, was informed that the blasting was done by the GREF authorities, the sources said.
An encounter took place between a group of militants and police after a police post was attacked at Tuliban in Mahore tehsil in Reasi police district last night. Retaliation by the cops forced the militants to escape.
Police busted a hideout of the militants at village Basan in Arnas and recovered one 12 bore gun, one HE 36 grenade, one Chinese grenade, three AK magazines and 213 AK rounds.
Next full moon on 8/30 and not again until 9/28
If my calculations are correct the exact time of the anniversary of the Hiroshima detonation would 4:16:08 P.M. Pacific time. Perhaps I should update my countdown timer to reflect this.
Full Moon is August 30th, so I would assume it would be in transition a few days after that.
I saw that, too. OMG, was it on cnn? I thought it was on FoxNews. BTW, what the heck are we doing watching cnn even for a few minutes anyway?!!! I know, I know. We were hunting all the channels for terror news.
The rouse that the terror alert is hogwash and political is getting way too much play from cnn, msnbc, abc, cbs, and nbc. It really is no wonder at all that the majority of We the People have no clue of the stilted news they do get.
Okay, thanks. Now trying to remember my astronomy 101 class from 1977. Doesn't the "full" effect last a few days before the shadow is discernable to the human eye? A waning full moon will keep it's "fullness" for three or four days IIRC. Might that also count?
