The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

NEW YORK - Police searched trucks, blocked streets and posted machine-gun toting officers outside financial landmarks Monday, a day after the government's chilling warning that terrorists might target the buildings with bombs.

Suspicious activity in New York ignored by police

Hartford -- A man from Vernon was recently driving through New York when he saw something suspicious but when he called police to alert them he says no one seemed to care.

A few days ago, Mike Maney was on his weekly trip from Vernon to Northern New Jersey to pick up merchandise. He was waiting in traffic at the approach to the George Washington Bridge when he noticed three men in the car next to him with a camera.

"I came across a vehicle sitting across from us in traffic, with three middle eastern looking men in it, with a very small palm video camera,"said Maney,"... sat across from them for a minimum of 20 minutes and the entire time they were filming structures of the tunnels and the bridge." (snip)

Much of the information that led authorities to raise the terror alert at several large financial institutions in the NY and D.C. areas was 3 or 4 years old... NYT Tuesday Page One Splash To Claim: Intelligence and law enforcement officials 'had not yet found concrete evidence that a terror plot or preparatory surveillance operations were still under way'...

Well, for one thing, everyone from Homeland Security on down is acting shocked and surprised by the precisely detail recon AQ has on our buildings, etc. Like HELLO, on FR we've been documenting dozens and dozens of cases of this actual recon taking place for the last couple years, and now the LEOs are supposed to be surprised that AQ has this recon data? Well, IMHO, that is something strange. Did they think all this stuff was going into home movies for the relatives back home?
