The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Canon makes great cameras... I convinced my parents to buy me the 10D by telling them it would be part of my career (I really want to work for the FBI or CIA at some point and they take pictures? Right! ;-) ). I’ve always enjoyed nature and photography is a great way to be in the great outdoors. I have to add more pics to my site, but I have been too wrapped up in this ‘ominous’ threat this summer to do much in the way of photography.

Here is the dome of the rock, I don't think it matches too well... I'll do a search on other famous mosques and see if I can find anything.

Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Mosque - Missouri

There are quite a few with the 'general' shape, so I guess it might be a mosque... This is from Istanbul.

Turkey - Similar Shape

Cleveland Mosque - Sort of the same shape.

I'm not sure... I guess it could be anything. I wish whoever drew the picture was a bit better of an artist or more willing to share their plan. :)

The first picture is the closest match I guess. I don't think it's actually a mosque either, it looked like it's some sort of convention hall. The site I was on said it had a 4,500+ person convention hall. But yes, they could hid a lot of munitions in them. I do not like the fact that they are popping up all over the US.

TOURIST COPTERS IN NEW YORK CITY A TERROR TARGET

WASHINGTON — Pakistan has given U.S. officials what they regard as credible and specific information indicating that al-Qaida has considered using tourist helicopters in terror attacks in New York City, domestic security officials said Sunday.

As a result, the officials said, security measures for helicopter operators will be stepped up in a new directive as early as this week. Among the new measures under review is a requirement to screen passengers for suspicious items, said an official with the Department of Homeland Security who had been briefed on the plan. So far, no groundings of helicopter operators are planned.

The authorities now believe that one of the men who conducted the surveillance at the New York Stock Exchange was Adnan G. el-Shukrijumah (remember this guy? I wish I knew how to post pictures here!), who was born in Saudi Arabia, has relatives in Florida and on May 26 was the subject of a bulletin issued by the FBI seeking information about seven men with suspected ties to terrorists.

Some intelligence officials believe that Shukrijumah is a close associate of Abu Eisa al-Hindi, a suspected operative of al-Qaida who was one of the men arrested last week in Britain and who was believed to have traveled to the United States at the direction of senior terrorist leaders to supervise and take part in the surveillance of the financial institutions.

There are no charges in the United States against Shukrijumah, but officials said that investigators had been seeking him since shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks because he is believed to have taken flight training and is fluent in English.

The FBI said in its bulletin that Shukrijumah carried a Guyanese passport but might try to enter the United States with a Saudi, Canadian or Trinidadian passport. One law enforcement official said that recent sightings had suggested that he had been in Mexico and Honduras, but those have not been confirmed.
