The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

I heard someone's spiel yesterday how Muslims that are known to be extremist are removed from a Mosque-blah! Good muslims are too fearful to do that!

If you mean my general post which you replied to, I can only point out that they are "my thoughts and observations" and as such cannot be found anywhere.

But if you mean posts in general from IH, well, they have been reposted here on FR since last November by a few of us. And folks do not always source them correctly, which is sad to see because of the hard work that goes into finding and translating the materials. I don't recall hearing any comments before about IH, but I understand that we had a recent problem here with another site over proprietary materials (which IH does not have).

IH posts reposted here on FreeRepublic also predates TM. I understand your overall concerns based upon what has transpired on TM in the recent past, but what solution do you offer when a TMer wants to post translated posts from IH or other public boards and yet there is no workable link for that? Would you recommend summaries? Impossible for machine translated messages, as you can imagine from seeing a few on TM already.

We can all stop posting such posts here if we choose to though. Is this what is recommended? Before we all make our decisions, remember that nothing that I or Davey or LayOutGuru2 and others have posted from IH is in any way related to any copyright or trade mark infringement. Not currently.

Any suggestions anyone? How should we best handle this? We don't want to keep the info in the hands of just a few -- especially when they do not mind their hard work out there and properly sourced to them -- but we should be careful as always. This is what MamaDearest is rightly concerned about.

Personally, I think we are doing just fine. I think we keep a good balance. We all know what caused the last blow-up here in relation to the use of proprietary materials in error. IH and yahoo groups and other public forums are not the same.

I will happily go with whatever the majority (or JR?) rules. :)
