The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Police Secure Businesses on Terror Alert
NEW YORK - Police searched trucks, blocked streets and posted machine-gun toting officers outside financial landmarks Monday, a day after the government's chilling warning that terrorists might target the buildings with bombs.

IIRC we decided some time ago that Houston would be a target too good to pass up.

I was thinking that the picture may be the astrodome, as a target indicator rather than a target.

Did you catch the story about the miner in Az?

I haven't seen the original translation. Perhaps if someone has seen it, they'd be kind enough to post it here.

Just off the 'top of my head' so to speak, the drawing appears to me to be the product of a juvenile fascinated with drawing aircraft. He's been practicing, but can't draw much else. The drawing itself shows an aircraft about to fly into the bottom span, or beneath the bridge...and he's better at drawing aircraft than bridges, that's for sure. Muslim teenage wish fulfillment. Probably lives in Sydney! TX? Finished the picture with his initials maybe?

It could be symbolic.

I just noticed that Casey on the It's Happening site has mentioned that this is actually an "old" picture that she remembers seeing roughly last summer.

Houston has an amazing stadium,,people go there just to see it. Is it the skydome? Some name I can't remember. Plus GWB's father lives in Houston.

A stadium packed with people is the target, not the empty structure. Remember The Sum of All Fears? Bush 41 would be a bonus, not a primary target unless the whole family were together.

My best guess though would be Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant. http://msnbcmedia.msn.com/j/msnbc/Components/Photos/040610/040610_indianpoint_hmed9a.hmedium "Twenty million people live within a 50 mile radius of Indian Point's reactors which are located in northern Westchester County adjacent to the Hudson River, just 24 miles north of Manhattan. A large radioactive release triggered by a terrorist attack on or accident at the facility could have devastating health and economic consequences, rendering much of the Hudson River Valley, including New York City, uninhabitable. Any New Yorkers out there? Is there an approach at Madison Square Garden that could be flown at between buildings?

That is the closest match I have seen. Now are there any big events scheduled there around labor day. Football games? Baseball games?
