BUSH GETS 10PT BUMP, ANOTHER DEM ENDORSES PREZ
WMCA-NY ^ | 8.2.2004

Posted on 08/02/2004 8:19:08 AM PDT by KMC1

Declaring that "America needs continuity in such tough and challenging times," St. Paul Minnesota Mayor Randy Kelly has joined the swelling ranks of elected Democrat officials and is backing Republican President George W. Bush for re-election.

"The President and I do not agree on a lot of issues, but in turbulent times what the American people need more than anything is continuity of government even with some imperfect policies," said Mayor Kelly.

Kelly follows the lead of former two term governor from the state of Georgia, United States Senator Zell Miller.

Miller appeared on "Meet The Press" on Sunday declaring that "the democratic party had gone so far too the left that democrats can't even win statewide offices in the south anymore."

"The reason being," the senator said, "because they are so closely aligned with the national democratic leadership."

Miller went on to assert that most Georgian democrats support his views that President Bush is taking and will take the war on terror seriously.

"Americans would rather be fighting the terrorists there, than on the streets of America," Miller stated.

Fellow United States Senator, Minnesota's Norm Coleman said the actions of Miller and more importantly Mayor Kelly demonstrated "bi-partisanship at its finest."

When you couple the fact that actual elected, sitting, democrats are the ones making these statements - and getting good press time doing it (KARE 11 TV), with the new results of the USAToday/CNN/Gallup polls that show Bush gaining close to a five point bump following Kerry's speech. (And if you stay within the Gallup poll since the beginning of July - Bush has bumped 10 points.)

The day that Bubba and Hitlery get sent back to Dogpatch Arkansas PERMANENTLY will be a GREAT DAY for the USA. I'm going to take a week off and STAY DRUNK to celebrate.

Okay, I make a mean whiskey sour! We'll get gutter-crawling, commode-hugging drunk! Last time for that, for me, was in Thailand, 2000. Whew, what a libo THAT was.

Anyone know what the record negative bounce is? I think this one may get up there. The other Democrats better watch out who they make alliances with or they may be booted out.

Last Friday I predicted that Kerry would drop four or five points by the weekend/Monday.

Where do I collect my prize?

I've been worried about this one for a long time. It's almost as if they had asked, "How can we run the worst campaign with the worst possible candidates?"

There's no way Hillary waits until 2008 if she sees the opportunity.

To be fair I don't think this is spin. I think very few have not made up their minds yet on who to vote for, probaly 10% or fewer.

Maybe. But if so then it doesnt appear they got their half at 5%.

It doesnt matter that much to me, as long as we win in Nov.

But, but the rats are claiming their initial 4 pt bump were 20% of the undecided vote so they're going to win. And they have pretty hair.

All it would take is a little "prostate flareup" in Sept. and Hillary could be "torched" into a candidacy. That's why they pulled the switcheroo in NJ--not just to hang on to a Senate seat, but to seed the system with as many spurious schemes as they can, for use as needed in the future. If they pull a Hillary switch, all the screaming in the world can't change it. The Supreme Court already upheld what happened in NJ. An argument that Fed elections are different from state ones might be valid, but it would only look like a loserman attitude.

Keep introducing and reintroducing Lurch, its helping us because people just dont like him.

Truer words were never spoken. The best chance the Democrats have is if they lock Kerry away until November. The more you see him or hear him, the more you don't like him. Man, what a bunch of idiots.

I was very surprised to see the Gallup Poll on Brit Hume's Special Report tonight. Gallup is usually 'RAT biased.

I don't get it. It would appear Kerry is sinking fast (even better than I thought!) :^D

And a little footnote here. FOX News has run TWO Kerry ads the last couple of hours.

I feel the need to send an email to someone there! :^(
