I don't understand why DemoRATS feel they need celebrites to make themselves look good. Are the voters that stupid to think that just because Affleck supports Kerry that they ought to as well?

I agree with the uncalled-for comments about Mrs. Edwards' obvious weight problem. I don't like her politics, but I don't think she's a couch potato watching soap operas all day. She does need some help both with her weight and with her wardrobe choices. A bit of polishing would not be amiss.
Luckily, thye've got the $ to hire a nanny while she goes to the gym ;) But I expect that the death of her son and being the home-maker while her husband is off doing politics, adds some heavy burdens. John Edwards though, cannot be supported in his ridiculous attacks on doctors. What a jerk.

Where's a good lawyer when you need one? /sarcasm This always happens to me...I'm trying to enjoy a relaxing, inexpensive meal with friends when some camera crew-toting, blowhard doofus accosts me and tries to act like he's just one of the gang. The poor marine had better be praying to God that this traitor is never his commander in chief! I read somewhere that the two marines weren't at all impressed with Kerry, and that they felt he was "imposing" on them. I bet that little exchange doesn't wind up in his next convention film! Unless, of course, it's artfully revised and re-enacted with an 8 mm camera.....

If the most best argument - or any part of the argument - we have for voting against the Kerry-Edwards ticket is that Mrs. Edwards is too fat, heaven help us all.
In fact, talking about the appearance of a candidate's wife is so juvenile and shallow as to be pathetic and reminiscent of the DUmmies. Do the DUmmies stoop so low? Certainly FReepers are capable of more substantive discourse.
How did they pay...cash or card?
How much was the tip?
How could they have "room" for another (even if swanky) meal?
