Was the real lunch choice Wendys or fine dine
What was being served inside the bus? While Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry and his running mate, John Edwards, and their families were having a lite lunch at Wendys in the Town of Newburgh Friday, drumming up local support right after the national convention in Boston, their real lunches were waiting on their bus.
A member of the Kerry advance team called Nikolas Restaurant at the Newburgh Yacht Club the night before and ordered 19 five-star lunches to go that would be picked up at noon Friday. Management at the restaurant, which is operated by CIA graduate chef Michael Dederick, was told the meals would be for the Kerry and Edwards families and actor Ben Affleck who was with them on the tour.
The gourmet meals to go included shrimp vindallo, grilled diver sea scallops, prosciutto, wrapped stuffed chicken, and steak salad. The meals came to about $200.
The entourage had also expected to stop at the Alexis Diner at Route 9W and North Plank Road in the Town of Newburgh. In fact, the Kerry advance team had ordered 125 lunches for the team and supporters. Their buses drove right by the diner on I-84 and proceeded straight to Wendys.
Kerry may still have the vote of Wendys manager John Garrett. Im for anyone who comes in and likes double cheeses, Garrett said. Im a big supporter of anyone who orders our food.

The std in that url stands for S#*tty Tipper Database. They have 5 hits.
One America for the "elites" and "beautiful people," They eat in the lap of luxury and get the Red, Blue, and Yellow tickets in life and in Kerrys America. They get ALL the perks, ALL the benefits and get to ride at the front of the preverbal bus.
The second America represents the rest of us who are not filthy rich, who are not the Hollywood people and moguls of this world, those who can not provide them with some sort of an "advantage. We, the "little people," get to eat bag lunches, ride at the back of the bus (or not get to ride at all), we all get to stand outside the fence and watch from a distance as THEY roll along on their 9 thousand dollar bikes, They cruse in their 41 foot speed boats, THEY fly in their 36 million dollar jets, THEY live in their five plus mansions, THEY ride in their Rolls Royces, THEY wine and dine in the finest restraints while we plead on the sidelines hopping for (but never receiving because it just isnt done) the "scraps" that fall from their table while Kerry, Edwards et. al. declare; and the lackey main-stream media report: "look how the masses love us and them!"
Why is anyone surprised? John Kerry DOES NEVER SERVES, HE IS SERVED BY OTHERS! This is coming from John F'n Kerry, a man who lives to be (and MUST be) FIRST in line and who's favorite saying is:
Do you know who 'I' am?"
This, and ONLY this, is what awaits America if John Kerry is elected. He and his administration (like the Clintons before them) will milk the system for all it is worth, for themselves, their family and friends, gorging on the backs of the second America. The rest of us are going to hurt big time, America will grow morally, spiritually, militarily and politically weaker. The terrorists will hit us big time and all the while Kerry, France and Germany will declare how good he is and how strong we are.
Thanks. Yeah how they treat people beneath them is exactly how they'll treat Americans if they get elected in November. Beware The Deadwards!
Sounds like a good deal.
LOLOLOL
We had a favorite diner in Connecticut and wish there was a place like that down here. I'm glad the owner didn't get stiffed too.
I would love to know if kerry stiffed them on lunch.
FREEPERS AND FRIENDS: WE MUSTN'T FORGET A VERY IMPORTANT ITEM NOT MENTIONED IN THE STORY. DID THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES LEAVE A LOUSY TIP OR DID THEY STIFF THE WAITERS???
Well ya know, those DemoRats are celebrity status and like most liberal celebs they expect YOU to give it to them cuz it's such an honor to be in their presence. I'm sure they tell such services that they can donate a portion as a "tax right off"
Yep. And in their America, according to the New York Times, the people who are supposed to report the news to the rest of us favor Kerry/Edwards by a 12 to 1 margin. So, the odds of the other America ever hearing about this story are just about nil. See: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1182743/posts
Because he was waiting for the Marine to salute first.
I can't understand why their poll numbers are the way they are.
Take a look at dvwjr's post #198, and #250 on this thread - No Convention Bounce For Kerry: Bush +1, Kerry -1 in First Full Day of Post Speech Polling -may help explain the disconnect.
Actually they were honest. Those 19 lunches were all for Elizabeth Edwards. No one else even got a table scrap.
Maybe he was no longer "REPORTING FOR DUTY".
You've obviously never been to Newburgh- a "5-Star Meal" there probably would cost around $10. (Only kidding for the most part, Newburghers)
".....I just sent the story to CNN. I'm not holding my breath...."
CNN will never air that story. I think it would have a better chance of being aired on Fox....altho it would be considered petty by the rest of the media. It's worth a shot.
"....Entrée price range $16-$20...."
No way could 19 lunches cost a total of $200.00 as per the prices quoted by the restaurant. It looks to me like there was some illegal campaign contributions going on there. Just for that fact, this story should be aired for all to see. This is another case of the arrogance and deceitfulness of this group....and they claim they represent the "common man". No way, when is the public going to wake up and see the real Kerry and co.?
"......... OR DID THEY STIFF THE WAITERS???...."
Excellent point. Inquiring minds want to know!
What kind of toy comes with that box meal?
