The top "Democrat" building (address) according to fundrace.org in the city of St. Louis, Missouri is "900 Tucker Blvd.", which is the ADDRESS of the St. Louis Post-Disgrace, er, "Dispatch."
Going to the details of the site, we see "Michael E. Pulitzer", Chairman, President, CEO of Pulitzer Publishing has given $25,000 to the DNC and $2000 to Ketchup Boy.

What hypocrites.
I TELL YOU, it just another reason why I am, happily, a
Recovering_Democrat!
Great research. Congratulations.
Any surprises here?
That doesn't surprise me, as I grew up in St. Louis, which is by far a big democratic machine. I will have to get my parents to stop their subscription to the Post-Dispatch immediately, no sense in giving Ketchup any more money!
Well, well well! It's a shame that 40% of the subscribers and 40% of the advertisers don't drop their relationship with the Left Wing Rag! Might convince them to be a bit less bias.
Fortunately, the number of people who read newspapers is shrinking every year and the number of people who take them seriously is shrinking even faster. Hopefully, these sick animals like Michael E. Pulitzer will take a bath when their newspaper "empires" finally gasp and die.
BTW...Welcome to FR!
That is exactly why I don't buy that rag.
It is an outrageously biased rag. I refuse to subscribe. I can remember the good ole days when we had the St. Louis Globe Democrat in addition to the Post. (Don't know where the name came from, 'cause it was the conservative counterpart to the Post Dispatch).
You'd think in a metro area of this size, we'd have some competition!

Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!
Makes me doubly glad I cancelled our subscription!
Who would have thought that???
They endorsed Claire "Drunken Sailor McCaskill!!!
It hasn't been a good month for Billy Bob, anyway...
Correction to last post:
Who would have thought that??? (/sarcasm)
They endorsed Claire "Drunken Sailor" McCaskill!!!
It's been a bad month for Billy Bob, anyway...
Good research and a great thread.
These rats have an influence all over America, and their newspaper are pro rat and yet deny it.
"Pulitzer Inc. is a newspaper publishing company with integrated Internet operations in 14 United States markets. During the fiscal year ended December 28, 2003, the Company's St. Louis operations contributed approximately 72% of its reported revenue. Pulitzer's newspaper holdings include operations in St. Louis, Missouri, where its subsidiary, St. Louis Post-Dispatch LLC, publishes the Post-Dispatch, the daily newspaper serving the greater St. Louis metropolitan area. In Tucson, Arizona, its Star Publishing Company subsidiary publishes the Arizona Daily Star (the Star). Star Publishing shares, on an equal basis, the combined results of the Star and the Tucson Citizen, published by the Gannett Co., Inc. Pulitzer's wholly owned subsidiary, Pulitzer Newspapers, Inc. and its subsidiaries publish 12 dailies that serve markets in the Midwest, Southwest and West, as well as more than 65 weekly newspapers, shoppers and niche publications."
Not only is the St. Louis Post the biggest in one major city, but it is also delivered all the way to Poplar Bluff (that I know of). The Bluff is about three/four hours south.
The Post-Disgrace is so much fishwrap. It reflects the political situation that exists in the city.
Missouri (specifically St. Louis) ping
