Hannaford grocery chain turns pro-homosexual

Three strikes and you're out! Breaking and developing
Christian-news-in-maine.com staff report

The Hannaford super market chain has finally convinced many Christians and pro-traditional family values families that they do not want their business.

First the Hannaford grocery chain, while going out of their way to help celebrate and signify every other form of religion or culture, insisted that the best they could do for the most Holy Day of Christianity, Easter, was a funny little Easter bunny and a few eggs.

Then Hannaford decided to side with the infamous United Way agasint the Boy Scouts of America.

And now this:
...
It has become obvious that the Hannaford grocery chain is nolonger either family friendly or for that fact, even interested in doing business with those in the Christian community or those who hold dear the traditional values of marriage being between one man and one woman.

Fortunately there are many alternatives to shopping at a Hannaford store, we in Maine are blesed with local grocers, Shaw's, Wal-Mart, independently owned IGA's and now the save-A-Lot chain is opening stores in Maine. While Wal-Marts are currently by far the most family friendly stores, the new Save-A-Lot chain does not sell magazines, booze or cigarettes.

And it seems that more and more Christian, Jewish and pro-traditional family values families are heeding the wish of the Hannaford chain and finding other grocery stores and pharmacies to send their hard earned dollars in.

Hannaford is one of those companies that is inevitably going to be absorbed by one of the larger retail super market corporations.

Already happened.

And you were expecting, just what, exactly?  A life-size freshly-scourged living color Christ-on-a-Crucifix suspended over the seasonal items aisle?  Churches don't sell groceries, and grocers aren't expected to host passion plays.

Aren't there Hannaford stores in New Hampshire and Mass. too?

We have several Hannaford Supermarkets here in the Capitol Region of NYS. The primary supermarket chain, however, remains Price Chopper, owned by the Golub Corporation.

Haven't yet, no.

I'm currently reading "Why You Can't Stay Silent" by Tom Minnery, and "Marriage Under Fire" by Dobson.

It's good, I take it?

fastest way to kill your business is to put up a rainbow flag. (unless all the business you want is just homosexual)

intersex is a fraudulent term the homosexual activists are using to confuse the issue of crossdressers. There are babies born with birth defects either developmental or genetic. Make no mistake they are defects and generally sterile it is very rare and usually die before puberty.

It still does not change the fact that homosexuality and crossdressing is a mental illness.

I know what most of that stuff is, but does anyone know what intersex and questionig are?

I'd have to guess that 'intersex' means 'in the process of gender change'. Going either M->F or F->M, but not quite there yet.

'Questioning' means 'unsure, therefore ripe for recruitment'.

Yes it is, would you care to write book reviews on the ones you're reading for Christian-news-in-maine.com I would put them up on the guest editorial page. Can't pay you anything, but, you would be providing a great service.

No, grocers aren't expected to host passion plays, but it wouldn't have hurt them to have something like the milk chocolate crosses my wife and I favor for our kids around Easter.
