Iraq kidnappings kingpin Zarqawi arrested

Abu Musab Zarqawi, the al-Qaeda leader in Iraq and alleged mastermind behind the hostage-taking incidents and attacks on the coalition forces has been reportedly arrested.
Reports in the Kuwaiti media said Friday a man assumed to be Zarqawi has been captured near the Syrian-Iraq border.
The man was nabbed during a joint operation by the US forces and the Iraqi police, Al Siyasah newspaper, reported quoting Iraqi sources.
Iraqi police have been reported to have claimed that Zarqawi, the most wanted terrorist in Iraq carrying a reward of $25 million, put up no resistance when he was arrested.
The investigating agencies are testing his DNA sample to confirm his identity, the unconfirmed report added.
Bwaaahaahaa 101 now.
I just wanted to post so if this turned out to be true this time I could go back and look at the thread and say "yup, I posted during this historic event!"

Anyhoo, I'm praying this man IS captured - a lot of our boys and girls will sleep safer if this man is in custody...

That would be awesome news... so this is confirmed??
It would be nice if there was something from Fox or some other American outlet where they let us know if they have asked the military about this and what the military's response has been. Given that this story has been out there all day long, the failure of the American outlets on this to get either a denial or a no comment is strange.
This story sure is making the rounds, while remaining unconfirmed (if not outright denied).
I will believe this when our military says it's true.

Our military isn't going to say squat until the DNA test comes back positive, and they have moved the animal to a secure location.
Show me a press release from the U.S. Military, then maybe I'll be convinced.
The way it should be done, so as avoid any loss of life on our side.
OK, now this is tarting to get a little ridiculous. It's great news if it's true, but I'm not jumping for joy just yet.
Another bad day for the Democrats if this is true. Their nightmare scenario is that we'll capture bin-Laden.
If this is true, they should behead him. I might watch that video.
I haven't heard anything to substantiate this rumor, which first appeared on aljazeera.com.
