As I have come to learn about the "religion" of Islam, the one indisputable fact is that it is mysognistic. IMO, any society or culture that treats women as chattel has no right to exist. I still remember the photo of a woman being shot in the head in some Afgan arena for some minor offense, and all the other horrific actions of the Taliban and other Islamofacists.

For the life of me, I just can't understand why any women who has read the Quran or Hadith would subscibe to such a belief. Guess it's that indoctrination thing.

The more I read and understand about the Islam religion, the I believe it is a death cult and ALL who follow it worship something UNHOLY and DEMONIC.

If anyone has a positive to put on the feces that has become the supposed religion of islam, let me know. It started a thousand years ago and has been degrading since then. Everything the so-called proud islamic religion/culture is based on is nothing but lies and deceit. Is there any muslim leader in this world that can or will tell the truth. If so, ask that person if Arafat is a terrorist or has ever had any terrorist connections.

Muslims have the right to practice their religion in the United States. This woman is not quite the "devout Muslim" she claims to be. She has a child out of wedlock and seems quite unashamed of it. She is demanding a higher position in the mosque. And she is threatening to sue the mosque if they don't accede to her demands. This is simply an Islamic brand of theological liberalism. She is nothing but a bully in demanding that others change their long standing traditions to conform to her ideas of what Islam should be.

How many of you would be cheering this woman on if she were Roman Catholic, with a child out of wedlock and proud of it, demanding that her mosque allow female priests, and threatening to sue the church if she didn't get her way?

How about if she were Southern Baptist and going to the BBC in order to humiliate a church because they wouldn't allow her to sit on the deacon board?

What if she were Hasidic Jew and demanding that she be allowed to publically read from the Torah on Shabbot?

I'm originally from West Virginia and this is not big news there. Funny how the BBC discovered a story about a tiny mosque in West Virginia.

The woman IS a troublemaker and the mosque is entirely within their rights to expel her.

I once had a boss who was just like that. First day he walked into my office, without knowing anything about me, said he didn't like me. Geez, you don't suppose it was because I knew more than he about running the office, was left handed, or worst of all a... a woman? I'd bring goodies to work and he'd always refuse them. Too bad I didn't know about the pork thing then because the front door handles and every phone would have smelled of Spam. It was a rural community and one of my clients brought in some watermelons for me so I took one to the boss and the slimy thing freaked out and refused to touch it. His reaction was very weird but it was because I had touched it first.
