In the same way the 'RAT party "conveniently" forgets that before he was president, Senator LBJ thwarted efforts to pass a civil rights bill, that party continues to attempt to hijack ideas and make them their own.

For example, before he was a senator and after he made his cameo appearance in Viet Nam, Kerry was against the war he now champions as a noble cause because it allows him to call himself a "hero." His actions after Viet Nam were "noble at the time," but anyone's actions that question his motives -- now or then -- is portrayed as playing the dirty politics of mean-spirited attacks. (Shoot the messenger.)

Edwards and Kerry even bastardized Republican rallying cries during their convention rather than having enough honor to come up with original stuff they could claim as their own. In all things, they prefer to mock and call it "service."

Then there's the issue of how that party, with their willing accomplices in the press, unwittingly and repeatedly employ the psychological device of projection and aren't called on it. ...of how the party with the sanity levels of Dean and Gore (not to mention the medicated state of Teh-ray-zah the other night) is now claiming W is on anti-depressants. ...of how the party of Teddy Kennedy has the audacity to throw out barbs that imply, or downright claim, that W's behavior "is typical for an alcoholic who has never undergone treatment for the condition."

Don't even get me started on: how they ignore all of their voter fraud practices while claiming a stolen election (despite all proof to the contrary); champion proven liars Michael Moore and Joe Wilson and countless others; and embrace Ronnie (I'm not a Junior; I miss my tu-tu) Reagan!

I'm praying for a landslide. I want this election over asap!

Seriously, there's so much we could say about them that's true, but never gets said by the MSM. And that's about the only way so many of the 'undecideds' get their information about candidates.

I know, it sounds defeatist...but it isn't! I'm spreading the word through e-mail to friends, around the water-cooler at work, at church, out on the range with my shooting buddies, etc. I too would love to see a landslide a la Ronald Reagan.

Thanks, Fawnn, for putting into words exactly how I feel, and most elequently too. I am amazed (I know I shouldn't be) at how sKerry can actually flaunt HIS military service when he has spent so much denegrating all Viet Nam vets!
