Ladies!! Our honor has been tarnished! The democrats think we are swayed by a pretty hairdo and a toothy grin!
Four years ago, in answer to the media portraying Dick Cheney as an old geezer, I posted a thread titled "Are You a Cheney Chick?" (Anyone who has that thread bookmarked, please post it here! I was unable to locate it.)
Well, here we are, and the democrats are acting like Pretty Boy Edwards will trump our hero. BAH!
I would like the ladies of Free Republic to speak up for our wonderful Vice President. Please post all thoughts, pictures, and links that prove that those of us who admire Vice President Cheney are in the mainstream of thought.
Gentlemen are also welcome to this thread. I have posted this in response to the idiotic democrats who think that John Edwards is a suitable replacement.
Stand up for Dick Cheney, the greatest Vice President in the history of our nation!!
You might like 94 on this thread then!
Very!
Edwards looks so made up, any woman who finds him attractive must be a lesbian.
NO GIRLY-MAN VP's!
=== Putin has backed the President more than you.
Hey now ... don't I get any points for being "obsessed" with opposing the Democrats NUMBER ONE "What if?!" a mere four years in advance? I about died when Kerry finally went to open the Pandora's box of Campaign Promises and EMBRYONIC STEM CELL RESEARCH was FIRST out 'da box.
Besides, I think the President's EXACT words were that Putin was "forward leaning" (as they say in diplomatically-nuanced circles). And I'm not so sure he "backs" Bush at all. Find it kinda odd Putin would so specifically tell Bush to BUTT OUT of Russia's "renewed" intimacy with Ukraine on the even of Ukraine's pullout from the coalition forces. Interesting times ... Things aren't always what they seem.
So c'mon, Miss Marple. Lighten up. You can't have four years of Daily Dose threads in the can without looking a little silly with your harumphing indignation the moment the Dems do their damndest to find a couple of manly men to front the ticket and flash a little leg for ya.
You take care now ... I'll be doing my best to bite my lip through the election. Swear. I can't help having some fun with the whole thing though now that I'm a truly liberated woman who lives by her conviction that women -- as a rule -- shouldn't vote save to sway the occasional election Lysistrata style, perhaps. =)
Keeps me free to Obsess about things like Stem Cells ... seriously, it was Number One! I knew it was big when Bush made it the subject of his first primetime address to the nation in August, 2001, but I gotta admit I'm a little floored it's THAT important to "Them" too.
Don't be mad at me ... I'll be so good you'll be posting articles just to smoke me out you miss me so much. =)
Add me to your Cheney Chicks ping list please!!
Love him--BIG TIME!!!!!!
C'mon! Get in touch with that feminine side? *L*
Well now that's just the rub, isn't it. They haven't.

Awwww....Spotty. She was a Good Dog.
Yes, Yummy Rummy, lol. One of my big disappointments in life is that he isn't available to marry my widowed mother. I know he'd be perfect for her.
Now THAT picture (W and Cheney walking together), that is a REAL beefcake picture!
I tried that once, and lost the ability to parallel-park. ;-)
Ouch! THAT hurt. Nearly as much as the whip-lash after I ran over my last traffic warden! ;-)
YES it is, can you imagine having to look at the two johns instead.
Never!!
I tried that once, and lost the ability to parallel-park. ;-)
Look on the bright side. You gained the ability to ask directions. ;=>
That is my "In Memory Of Spotty" pic.....she looks like she's flying. ;-)
Yuck. No, I really can't imagine that, I'm afraid I might end it all right there.

Gotta cut 'em some slack ... men who believe in Big Lies like "Women's Rights" or who toe the line of the abortion Litmus test are not exactly in a position to be manly.
I observed but did not support the recent "BANDS TOGETHER" block party in my neighborhood designed to register young voters and raise consciousness. Never seen such a uniformly fey bunch of men. Not gay ... just soft.
Couldn't help thinking about that as I took in the crowd shots during what bits of the Dem Convention I could stomach.
While it may be that stormtroopers must board subway cars to shame all and sundry with bag checks for Security Purposes ... after a while it dawns on you that all the Kevlar, the police, the agencies, the military they bring out now for wholly gratuitous events like the Convention is a bit of overkill, if not also unconstitutional.
