I was honored that he picked me to attack over the poem on #10. I was asleep at the time but bad company stomped him real good.
It's said that when auditioning for Phantom Menace, she did not know what Star Wars was, and had to be shown the films. So I'm not sure what Lucas was looking for when he picked her.
This brilliant and beautiful young woman is just reflecting the overwhelming majority views of her peer group: the brightest college students in America. The smarter you are, the less likely you are to vote Republican. Let's face it. Those are the facts. Even in 1984, when Reagan won by a landslide, only 16% of Ivy League students voted for him; college students nationwide gave him almost 70% of the vote.
Only about 10% to 15% of students at the Ivy League and other elite institutions voted for the GOP for president in elections since 1964.
The best and the brightest know a lot. The kids with the most information and deepest understanding vote overwhemingly Democratic. Even if you wish otherwise, that's the way it is.
This fact explains much about Republican policies towards education; defund it, and make it all about "testing" and you can keep people dumb and uniformed forever.
