kidsforkerry.com ???
kidsforkerry.com ^ | 7/30/04 | vharlow

I just checked out the kidsforkerry.com website. Frankly, this seems low to me, to have kids propagandize leaving out arguments different from these listed here. This looks like a cry for government to provide everything for kids.

Where do they get taught that government should provide everything for kids? Who tells them they can't go to a doctor when they are sick? If this is what they are learning in schools, it's a good enough reason to keep them homeschooled.

I doubt the campaign really cares much for kids - they can't vote.

I for one am sick of this entitlement mentality. Isn't it almost a part of human nature to feel good inside for being able to pay for oneself ? At least that would support my theory that being a Democrat is unnatural.

Yeah, like in South Dakota, where they have to padlock the cemetaries before election time...

My opinion is that it is a cynical attempt to win back the soccer-mom vote. Isn't there a law against child labor? Lets hope these kids rebel against their hippie parents when they get older.

It was disgusting to have some kid rant about Cheney's curse, especially since it was a private comment from one adult to another adult who deserved to be cursed at for saying far worse things about Cheney. Look how the liberal media has made it acceptable to call Cheney a traitorous crook who sends our troops off to die for his own evil profit. What Leahy was saying was outrageous. Also, having a child rant about Cheney's curse showed the amazing hypocrisy of liberals and Democrats since Kerry used the same curse in the PUBLIC forum, Rolling Stone Magazine, a magazine that attracts kids.

What a joke. You can tell an adult wrote the the propaganda on the site even though he claims to be a kid.

I refuse to visit it. I don't want my blood pressure raised that much, and besides, it'll put another click on their hit counter, which I don't want to do.

Trade ya places. I have a family reunion of sorts coming up, and out of probably a hundred of them, there will probably be one or two that don't have their heads implanted upside down, not voting for Kerry. It's almost like watching sheep to the slaughter. I think I will buy a CPUSA t-shirt and tell them to support Kerry.

One would have thought the media would have checked it out before giving it so much air and print time. Oh, never mind, this is the American media we're talking about.

But I really thought that 12 year-old girl who spoke at the convention set this up herself. < /sarcasm>

GOOD QUESTIONS FOR KIDS/LIBERALS
Maybe John Kerry can explain to you kids why he strongly supports abortion on demand. Have him explain to you the late term abortion procedure he thinks ought to be protected by law. Maybe he can show you some picture books about this procedure.

Then have him explain to you how he wants to take money from your hard working mom and dad and give it to people who don't want to work. Of course, he'll tell you he is only helping the less fortunate. But then ask him if that is the case, then why not just let your mom and dad help the less fortunate the best way _they_ see fit.

Ask John Kerry what crimes he committed in Vietnam. You heard he was in Vietnam, didn't you? See, boys and girls, when John Kerry came back from Vietnam, he started calling his fellow soldiers *names*, and even went to Washington DC where he told a bunch of Congresspeople that war crimes were the "rule", not the exception, in Vietnam. He even said he did some pretty terrible things in Vietnam. But he never did anything to stop it while he was there.

Ask John Kerry why four months in Vietnam is worthy of praise, but 240 months of a liberal voting record in the Senate is to be ignored.

Ask John Kerry why, out of 23 officers he served with in Vietnam, only TWO are endorsing him, and 16 or 17 think he is "unfit" to command.

Oh, and ask John Kerry why he says to the men and women in Iraq "Help Is On The way"...but he voted NO to support them with more funds.
