I haven't seen much of John Edwards in the past and frankly, I don't see what the big deal is. For some reason, John Edwards reminds me of a slick version of Jimmah Carter with more of the same results. Short on substance and very very whiny.

It really is amazing ... I have known -- daresay DATED -- people that this speech was directed towards ... they had all the trappings of the middle class: tv, vcr, sound system, cable, whatever -- but needed food stamps to feed their children.
