I saw it. Unfortunately O'Rielly had his a** handed to him. He lost. Hands down. I thought he could have done better than that against Moore. Oh well.

Left-wing rabble-rouser Moore and right-wing conservative...

Hmmm...odd. Why isn't it "Left-wing LIBERAL Moore and right-wing conservative..."

Still afraid of that "liberal" stigma? Why oh why?

right-wing conservative O'Reilly

As a right-wing conservative, I resent O'Reilly being characterized as such.

no one "sends their child" to war. its a volunteer military made up of adults.

most liberals wouldn't "send their child" to war for any reason whatsover - even if the enemy were at their front door, they would try and negotiate, or just go quietly.

Why do you think the terrorists in Iraq will win? Why do you think Americans are the dumbest people on the planet? If there wasn't a terrorist threat in America then who attacked the WTC twice? These are just some of the questions I would have asked MM.

I'm still amazed that someone saw fit to bear Moore's children.

Moore countered, "it's President Bush that needs to apologize to the nation for telling an entire country that there...was some connection between Saddam Hussein and September 11."

[Sigh...] I'm surprised Moore didn't slip into that quote that Bush also called an attack from Iraq "imminent." Is Michael Moore the biggest, fattest, liar on the planet, or is he simply delusional?

I guess it's just me, but I wasn't upset with O'Reilly. I was amazed at what a sloppy thinker Moore is. I guess what you see on the outside is what you get on the inside with this character. If Moore ever went to college, he should have his diploma revoked.

I only saw a few minutes, decided O'Reilly was pulling his punches like crazy, and clicked it off.

O'Reilly lost BIGTIME. This is what I emailed him last night 3 times and every one was returned as their server was deluged! I will watch him tonight for the last time, just to see if he is man enough to admit he blew it. Look for him to be shown the door by Roger Ailes very shortly. OK here's my letter to Bill:

Bill, I am 22 year Marine Corps veteran. I want to address the Moore interview.

You did SOME good with Moore, by letting the world see what a whinny, refuse-to-face-the-facts liberal, who is blinded by his own political ideology really is.

HOWEVER, you could have totally clobbered him, if you had just refuted Moore on the main point Moore kept saying: that young men and women in uniform died.

You could have slammed him with this statement: "Mr. Moore, there were ZERO draftees killed or injured in military operations in Afghanistan or Iraq. ZERO. PERIOD. They were NOT kids, they were adults who voluntarily joined the armed forces of the United States and answered the call to serve and protect their fellow countrymen. They joined for their own PERSONAL reasons of which you or I cannot even begin to fathom."

Your PROPAGANDA film, based NOT of FACT, but your own DISTORTED interpretation of reality, DEMEANS THEIR DEATH and SACRIFICE. You have insulted, offended, and injured all of their families by politicizing their sacrifice and loss. You add insult to injury, because you profiteered, to the tune of more than $100 million dollars, by their loss of life! These are the same people you profess to be 'looking out' for. That money has their blood on it. You misled the viewers and cheapened the political discourse. Michael Moore, you are DESPICABLE!

Nobody sacrificed anyone for Faluja. We sent volunteers to fight a battle against terrorism, a battle that should have been fought when the WCT was bombed, when two Afican embassies were bombed, when the USS Cole was bombed, when the Khobar towers were bombed, and when 3000 innocent people were killed on 9/11/2001.

Now that we have a real leader nobody should apologize for fighting a battle that could have been won 12 years ago if the likes of Moore had not voted an innept idiot into office twice.

Blowhard vs. Blowhard.

And anyone that thinks O'Rielly is a conservative is a clueless imbecile.

O'Reilly blew the wmd question and the terrorism/Iraq question. He rolled over on whether he'd support his own son being in the battle. My son's there, and I was offended by his ridiculous dodge.

In fact, he simply accepted the "no wmd's exist" line. I thought the guy was well-read. Last night he was a cupcake.

O'Rielly should have said...

1. No children are being sent to war. All military personnel are over 18 years old, which is by definition not a child.

2. No one is forced to go into the army. We have not had a draft or conscript army in this country for 30 years and, according to the Secretary of Defense (accd to Mikey Moore the EEEVIL Donald Rumsfeld), there is no need for that anywhere in the forseeable future.

3. Yes, if necessary we must send our young, volunteer military personnel to do a dirty job. That involves death. So, yes, we must send people to do for the greater good. Your inference that they are dying in vain, or worse for a "lie" that really, at most, was poor intelligence, is the greatest insult to the memory of the soldiers, their families, and anyone else they have left behind...maybe, most especially the free women, children, and innocents in Iraq that, prior to that soldier's sacrifice, were been raped, tortured, gassed, or otherwise terrorized (YES TERRORIZED!) everyday.

4. You are a fat, lying piece of SH*T who should dropped F*CKING dead!

Ok, he might have left out that last part, but all of the other points would have shut his big, fat, lying mouth.

I think O'Reilly blew it in a major way. He appeared nervous and stuttered at one point. For taking on Moore, I think Hannity's the man for the job.

I think the trouble with the interview was that O'Reilly was so anxious to get Moore on his show for ratings purposes that he accepted Moore's demand that the interview be done immediately. Fox hyped the show like CRAZY. O'Reilly had no time to really prepare his "cross-examination". He should have had quotes to display, video of the 9/11 commissioners to play, quotes or video of the Butler report, Kerry, Clinton, HRC, Edwards, etc. disputing Moore's accusations, quotes from Moore's books showing him to be anti-American, etc. Television is a visual medium and O'Reilly could have shown him to be a liar and propagandist if he prepared. Instead it was Bill's word against Moore's with nothing to show the audience to dispute Moore's claims. Preparation is everything. Bill went for the ratings and not the Knock Out, and it showed. He BLEW IT!!

Why on earth doesn't somebody (anybody) ask the Michigan Manatee if Clinton, Berger, Gore and Albright were lying when they said Saddam had these weapons. If Bush was guilty of telling a lie about the WMD, he was guilty of repeating a lie that CLINTON INVENTED!
