I half expected Whoopi Goldberg and Rob Reiner (in a tuxedo) to walk out with an envelope to announce the next winner...

Right. Talk is cheap. As they say in Texas, Kerry and Edwards are "All Hat, no Cattle".

Even better than that - he's a Christian. He's singing about the truth now.

Yeah, that "hope is on the way" could be interpreted to mean that the "man from Hope" is on his way back somehow.

Maybe he's trying to warn us that Hillary is on her way.

It's like Fred Barnes said, Edwards talked about John Kerry's life 30 years ago, but nothing about what he did in between.

DEMS THROW AMERICAN FLAGS ON THE GROUND!!!!

Carl Cameron on FNC is in the crowd and you see American Flags just tossed on the ground. I guess the Dems feel that the networks are not looking so they don't have to act like the care about the Flag anymore.

Dems make me sick!

Not much on tonight so I'm sticking with Kurt Russell, Isaac Hayes, and Lee Van Cleef.

I'm becoming more and more disenchanted with the Fox commentators. They seem impressed with some flowery speech that constisted of nothing more than a bunch of race baiting, class warfare and stealing of President Bush's policies.

Let's see if Kiran Chetry shows up on Fox and Friends tomorrow morning, singing the praises of Edwards. She's nothing more than a dim liberal who can't get enough of the "Breck Girls". Hopefully Brian Kilmeade and Juliet Huddy will be on and we can hear some common sense for a change.

As far as Kristol goes, I've never really liked him. He seems to have some sort of bitterness and jealousy concerning George W. Bush. All he does is nitpick and find fault. The lady on the panel works for NPR, so her comments are no surprise. Kondracke said the the speech was effective, but I think that he meant that it was effective only in the sense that it was music to the ears of those expecting to hear this speech anyways. He was preaching to the choir. Brit Hume is always consistent. He's a class act and very, very smart!

Fox is showing a clip from Sharpton's psychopathic tirade now. Well, I've taken all I can for the night. I'm turning in for the evening (hopefully withought nightmares). Good night everyone.

I don't know if I have a virus or something, but there has lately been a number of postings that have no content (like this one). So I don't know what you were saying.

Let's try this again. There seems to be a bug in the system that doesn't post certain replies. I reported it to JimRob. He's checking into it. Here's my earlier reply to you:

Edwards blew his chance

I could not agree more.

Two things struck me a bad for Edwards from a technical (ratings)standpoint. First Edwards has a nervous eye blink. His eyes blink 2 times a second. That is very off putting.

They have the cameras set up so speakers are not playing to the camera. If you want to be effective on TV you have to look the camera in the lense.

Edwards was playing to the delegates.

You can't sell a used car while looking at the mechanics in the garage. You gotta look the potential buyer in the eye. That buyer is behind the camera lens. And Edwards was paying no attention to him.
