Now Al is just plain lying. Republicans voted in larger numbers for civil rights than dems did.
The Republicans had a higher percentage voting for, the Dems had the higher numbers since they overwhelmingly controlled Congress. The 88th Congress (1963-64) had in the Senate 67 Dems to 33 Reps and in the House 258 Dems to 176 Reps.
The House passed the bill by 289-126, a vote in which 79 percent of Republicans and 63 percent of Democrats voted yes. The Senate vote was 73-27, with 21 Democrats and only six Republicans voting no. Johnson signed the new Civil Rights Act into law on July 2, 1964.

Just think, some poor slob at the White House was assigned the duty of watching every hour of this. I hope they do it in shifts, one person watching it all is liable to go stark raving mad.Hey! They could join us and have some fun !
These Demon'rat Bostonians and wannabes have nothing in common with those that helped launched the revolution. It's appalling that these high taxation supporters try to compare themselves with them.

Nobody is listening. Nobody cares. This is the guy who Sen. Byrd says lost all his treasure in the Senate. This is the guy on who's watch, top secrets made their way to China. This is the guy who Clinton gave the task of finding Lewinsky a job. It is also the same guy who in his first move as Gov. of N.M. lowered taxes, and yet rails against the Bush adm. Hippocrites all of them.

Audience in complete silence, bored out of their skulls.
