That John Kerry, he's out of this world!
If the Bush/Cheney camp doesn't capitalize off of this picture we deserve to lose.
Quite a few conservatives would actually agree with Kerry not funding the Space Station. I might be in that camp.
There they are!!! ... all smiling for the non photographer who wasn't taking their picture.
Who's the man?
"Quite a few conservatives would actually agree with Kerry not funding the Space Station. I might be in that camp."
Count me in as well. One has to wander what might be the Bush payback to NASA for publishing/leaking those photos. We might soon hear about a 112 billion dollar funding of Nasa on a 19 year project to land a monkey on Neptune.
The point isn't so much his vote. It is that he voted against it and now had hoped to use it to promote himself. Like, "see, I'm pro space program."

Yeah, first thing I've agreed with him about. The problem is that he opposed it so that the money could be used for even worse mischief.
I think they're capitalizing on it just fine.

Republicans ridiculed Kerry's primary campaign contortions about the war on Iraq yesterday and handed out pictures of Kerry clad in a hooded blue anti-contamination suit as he climbed out of a NASA space shuttle orbiter. The GOP effort to pull a "Dukakis" on Kerry is shifting into high gear.
In 1988, Republicans were able to turn Michael Dukakis from a Democratic presidential front-runner into a caricature by means of a photo of Dukakis riding in a tank while wearing a helmet. At the time, Republican strategists for Bush's father compared the governor in the tank helmet to "Rocky the Flying Squirrel."
Yes indeedy!

A little off the subject here but while Ketchup is making photo ops; please correct me if I am wrong but Ketchup has not made one trip to Iraq or Afghanistan since the wars has he???
Semper Fi,
Kelly
And now we have "Hamtaro the Hamster"...
Kerry Campaign: " He had no idea that his picture was being taken".
NASA: "Yeah, right"

Bingo. Florida is a battleground state, with a lot of NASA voters.
LOL! Great poster!
Which of those cuts coincided with the shuttle destructions?
While most here love to blame NASA for all the PC decisions that have resulted in death, they are decided directly and enforced by congress!
So now you know who to blame - and WHO was in charge of congress during this?
Vote OUT EVERYBODY! Get new and honest people into congress.
