Adjournment
The networks will NOT be showing her speech.
And the third is only famous because he was related to two famous dead Democrats.
That's some party.
Thanks. Are we going to put on a show? Yippety Skippety :-)
We have a propensity to re-name things in AZ. lol
Miss Marple and I continually discuss the fact that WE know more than most of the talking heads on tv and radio; we really wish FR would buy us some on air time! :-)
Are you saying they're all related to you? :-)
There can't be enough data to show any bounce yet until the convention is over. Not enough polls have been taken. This is Morris just being himself... nothing new. He is a has been who is more wrong than right these days. The ratings were abysmal for the convention. I think the American populace has more or less tuned out this election. The energy you see if the small group of Bush-haters (those still obsessed about 2000). The majority still remembers 9/11 and sees the economy beginning to really heat up. While I was downsized a few weeks ago, I do not hold any government at fault. It's just the nature of business and I expect to find another job very soon. My type of work cannot be outsourced. So, I don't think these issues the Dems are bringing up are going to have legs in the long run. While these Dems bemoan the tax cut, you don't hear a whisper about them donating it to charity, or refusing to cash the check, do you?
That is without a doubt the Gospel truth--and pithy too.
I see us sitting in Howlin's kitchen, rather like Martha Stewart's old show. We could drink coffee, peruse newspapers and the computer (sort of like C-SPAN) and make catty comments about democrat dress (a la Joan Rivers). Personally, I think we could have a great show!
A 100% bump in 2004 vs. 1996 from a convention coverage with the lowest ratings?
Yep, strictly noise. Recall Dowd said Kerry should have a 15pt lead coming out of the convention. I don't see that happening.
Just turned on Hannity radio.
What is going on there? Hannity is acting like a junior hi schooler. He's trying to argue over some guy.
Now, Mark Levin is on, doing the same.
Hannity and Levin are making themselves sound like major whiners.
Ya reckon they'll leave out
when they say the Pledge of Allegiance?
here is a good post from Indymedia/Boston:
Re: DNC Medics: Dangers of Un-Free Speech Zone

Last night, I was able to freely enter the Un-FSZ with a blue photographers backpack that contained two battery powered hatchet style Sawzall reciprocating saws, four dozen large "Torch" blades suitable for cutting heavy steel beams, a bottle of oil, and 4 extra battery packs.
Carried two cameras around my neck, and had something around my neck that looked like a press credential.
Left the saw blades hidden at various locations inside the Un-FSZ for the fun on Thursday.
Is he still yelling at James Hoffa?
For those of us not drinking the Rat Kool-Ade, this means that her speech will be boring and difficult to understand.

I'm glad I have other things to do tonight instead of watching RATFEST 2004 DAY TWO.
I got as far as ...."The convention is about to start."
All that Democrat weeping, whining, and gnashing of teeth is too much of a downer. All negative, all the time.
Emeril was making pizza dough. So I watched that. Then I turned off the TV and read.
I can't wait for the Republican convention. All positive, all the time. There's a light that shines brightly from the Bush administration. I like seeing it. It's so uplifting.
