A damning report by Palestinian legislators, which has been seen by the Telegraph, concludes that Mr Arafat did nothing to stop the deals although he publicly condemned the structure as a "crime against humanity"... The report reveals that the cement originally came from Egyptian companies which supplied it at a huge discount of $22 (£12.50) a ton to help rebuild dilapidated Palestinian houses or buildings bulldozed by the Israelis. Between September 2003 and March this year, 420,000 tons of cement were allegedly sent to three big Palestinian companies. According to the report, however, only 33,000 tons were sold in the Palestinian market. The vast bulk was transported to Israel on trucks owned by the three firms. According to Mr Khreishe, the cement was then sold with a mark-up of at least $15 a ton - and possibly as high as $100 - making profits of well over $6 million (£3.4 million) for company executives.

George W. Bush will be reelected by a margin of at least ten per cent
I think its going to be closer then that.
So 387,000 tons of cement supposedly went to Israel. If they made a 6 bag mix (and they probably use much less for walls), then that's enough cement to make 1.3 million cubic yards of concrete.
There's no way Israel used THAT much for walls. (trucks only haul about 10 yards at a time)
More likely the ragheads are using it for bunkers.
Palestinian PM Withdraws ResignationLast week, in an initial move to silence critics, Arafat agreed to consolidate his security forces into three branches, and on Tuesday he gave Qureia control over one of them.

Under the agreement, Qureia will have authority over the internal security forces - the police, civil defense and preventive security - while Arafat will control the Palestinian intelligence service and armed forces, Palestinian officials said.
Officials said Arafat also gave ground on corruption, agreeing to order the attorney general to open investigations against tainted officials.
But the accord failed to resolve the controversy over Arafat's appointment of his cousin Moussa Arafat as chief of security in Gaza. Moussa Arafat is widely accused of human rights violations and suspected of weapons and drugs smuggling.
and the palestinians never stop to ask why they have not been assimilated into jordan, syria, ..... they havent figured out ( like certain groups in this country) they are sent out like Mongo and then they get a spoon full of beans and a promise that someday they will be free...
