As everything at the DNC convention in Boston proceeds per script, one source of tension remains: the Dennis Kucinich factor.
The liberal congressman from Ohio has fallen in line behind the party standard bearer, but many of his 67 delegates will go 'off message' in a symbolic floor protest.
Charline Coates, 33 a poet from Clevland said, 'Our vote will just say 'present' becuase his [Rep. Kucinich's] name is not on the ballot.
Kucinich told us, 'I respect my delegates' for wanting to lodge protest votes.
But sounding very on message he predicted: 'We will leave this convention united for John Kerry.'

Why do I think the poet from Cleveland may be the prototype for Anne Coulter's description of the women at the RAT convention:
My pretty-girl allies stick out like a sore thumb amongst the corn-fed, no make-up, natural fiber, no-bra needing, sandal-wearing, hirsute, somewhat fragrant hippie-chick pie wagons they call "women" at the Democratic National Convention.

67 delegates? That must be all the Kucinich supporters and their parents. Seriously, is ther a Kucinich supporter who isn't a "poet" (yeah, they make the jack!) a "writer", a "painter", or some other form of "artist"? Aside from the high-school kids and mental patients, I mean.

MOST OF THE DELEGATES ARE WEIRDO'S, but I'll bet the Kucinich delegates can be "picked out" just by looking at them. Profiling works.
