As soon as I read "there are many paths to the same place," my antennae went up: Jesus said there was one way, Him.
("I am the truth, the life, the way." Not "a" way. "The" way). He said the way was narrow. Sounds like Mr. Obama ain't on that way Jesus described.

The ONLY religion Obama believes in is LIBERALISM.

How can someone be a "Man of Faith", when he or she advocates abortion?

Beware of a DU disruptor. He used to go by the name of "Thanos." I guess he got banned, so he came back as "Thanoz." He's too much of a coward to debate issues on the forum, so he sends nasty, moronic FReepmails.

I am even more disappointed now in Ditka for not running. There needed to be a conservative opponent against this kind of candidate that had some chance of winning. His country called and Mike refused to answer. Disappointing.

From the original article. "Obama doesn't believe he, or anyone else, will go to hell."

Yet another attack on religion and specificall "bush is extreme."
This makes it sound like Christian for convenience.
exactly like kerry is a catholic for the image of being a catholic. (and Irish kerry is also Irish. not)
The DNC attack on religion marches on...

That same sentence hit me and I lost interest in the rest of the story. Also , " I believe in a higher power". So does Satan. That proves nothing. "Many will come in My Name". (Jesus Christ)
To: O.C. - Old Cracker
Sure thing. He just reacted to it, by sending me yet another stupid FReepmail.

A graduate of the Bill Clinton school of campaigning.

I don't think it's healthy for public figures to wear religion on their sleeve as a means to insulate themselves from criticism, or dialogue with people who disagree with them." This is the same language used by Ron Reagan Jr. at his father's funeral. This kind of rhetoric is code for, "Don't use the inspired Word of God to attack my positions, or to defend your own."
