As soon as I read "there are many paths to the same place," my antennae went up: Jesus said there was one way, Him.
("I am the truth, the life, the way." Not "a" way. "The" way). He said the way was narrow. Sounds like Mr. Obama ain't on that way Jesus described.

Beware of a DU disruptor. He used to go by the name of "Thanos." I guess he got banned, so he came back as "Thanoz." He's too much of a coward to debate issues on the forum, so he sends nasty, moronic FReepmails.

That same sentence hit me and I lost interest in the rest of the story. Also , " I believe in a higher power". So does Satan. That proves nothing. "Many will come in My Name". (Jesus Christ)

A graduate of the Bill Clinton school of campaigning.

Perhaps when he said "I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power," he was referring to the ways one can come to be a Christian (especially in light of the fact that his mother was an athiest and his stepfather was Muslim -- he certainly found an unusual way to become one). He does say that he has a "personal relationship with Jesus Christ," buzz words for Christians, so he does seem to be following the "party line" when it comes to "the way."

Obama is also paraphrasing his commie idol Chairman Mao, who said words to the effect of "it matters not whether the cat is black or white, so long as it catches mice," by which he meant that there was more than one path to the Communist ideal.
Obama is a Marxist, or at least a fellow traveler, and it is embarrassing that the Illinois GOP can't find a standard bearer to take on and defeat Obama.

Thanks for saying what you did. That is EXACTLY what I was going to post, and you said it just right.
Thanks.

"Many paths to Satori" may be interpreted many different ways. Given a bit of time I can even crank that "One Way" thing in there making use of the "In My Father's house there are many mansions" clause.
The thing here is that Obama is either a "Man of Faith" or a "Democrat". You can't be both.
A theological legalistic response to his claim is simply not needed, do hit the off button and crank that antenna back into it's holder in the trunk.
Since he's toying with all of us in his illegitimate effort to justify worshiping God and voting Left, I'd say he's on a one way trip to Outer Darkness and is probably beyond our ministrations to the contrary anyway.
