My heart goes out to these men, and their families. Any human who tries to do what is right and sacrifices everything in that attempt, deserves my respect. They certainly have it.

The Iraqis understand the price of freedom, at least these two Iraqi Patriots (yeah, I think they deserve to be call Patriots!)understand the price.

Sounds like the ING and a lot of other IRAQIs have figured out that they have something just in their grasp that's worth fighting to hold on to at all costs.

"We are very sad. They were our friends and now we've lost them. They were good men," said Deputy Sgt. Thaid Hadiph, an ING soldier from Mahmudiyah. "The sacrifice they made for Iraq will not be forgotten."

The Iraqis are catching on.
No better teachers than the Marines
Sorry these guys had to die, but they went out proud.
The Democrats do NOT get it. Since the Spartans, men have gone to battle, stood their ground, and sometimes died. Honor was heaped on them, and thier families were accorded special treatment.
Demoncrat solution=Pack up and run.

I would hardly use the word nuisance with regard to these animals. It's time for the Iraqi people to step up to the plate and turn in those who would murder them and deny them an opportunity to live freely.

Democracy and freedom are the right of all people. I think many Iraqis are finding their courage to claim it.

"They are holy victims of the war on terrorism," said Iraqi Sgt. Haair Ahamy, an ING soldier. "They stood up and were brave, protecting their people. They were cowards, the terrorists who attacked us." Indeed.
It is interesting. In a number of places in the ME the title of "holy victim" would be given to some confused kid who let some evil man strap a bomb on him so he could blow up other kids eating pizza.
In Iraq, slowly but surely it seems that the national mentality is undergoing a sea change. The killers are reviled, the protectors are praised.
Maybe I am overly optimistic. But seeds of change seem to be sprouting.

"...IRAQIs have figured out that they have something just in their grasp that's worth fighting to hold on to at all costs..."It's a difficult concept, folks, but once understood - immpossible to reverse!
"Ye have wounded me greatly,
So I will lay-me down,
And bleed a while...
And then I will rise...
And FIGHT THEE AGAIN!!"
They already understand dying - now they're learning 'dying-for-a-cause-that lets'-their- children-live!'
I wish them success, and mourn their inevitable losses. Stay well.............FRegards

I'd call them Patriots as well.
Sounds like the ING and a lot of other IRAQIs have figured out that they have something just in their grasp that's worth fighting to hold on to at all costs.
Let's hope and pray so.
I actually shed a tear reading this story. Rock on, dudes!!!
