"When I talked about the heart and soul, I'm talking about the artistic expression. I'm talking about sort of the, I mean, I believe in the arts. I think that there's a great expression in it, and there's always this struggle. You know, does life imitate art or art imitate life? Which comes first? It's a little of both. Surely this is from Saturday Night Live or the Onion?

John Effin' Kerry has about as much "gravitas" as my cat-box.As Steyn observed, they are confusing being boring with being deep.
Afterwards, asked about his apparent enthusiasm for the potty-mouthed has-beens, he replied thus: "When I talked about the heart and soul, I'm talking about the artistic expression. I'm talking about sort of the, I mean, I believe in the arts. I think that there's a great expression in it, and there's always this struggle. You know, does life imitate art or art imitate life? This guy is a pretentious moron. Any bright eighth grader would have more to say on the subject.

This guy is a pretentious moron. Any bright eighth grader would have more to say on the subject. Beg to differ. Any "bright eighth grader" would have something more meaningful to say. And take fewer words to say it.

He was in Wisconsin the other day, pretending to be a regular guy, and was asked what kind of hunting he preferred. "I'd have to say deer," said the senator. "I go out with my trusty 12-gauge double-barrel, crawl around on my stomach... That's hunting."How much do you want to bet that sometime in October, a Kerry photo op will feature him crawling around on the ground in brand new camoflage clothing, clutching a $50,000 hand-built French shotgun? A real "man of the people."

One more reason to be glad I live in Colorado.
Shotgun deer hunting may be legal here too for all I know but hunters here tend to lean toward a 30.06 to do the job or at least they used to when I was around them.
Distances are long. You aren't likely to get within 30 yds. of a muledeer in hunting season.

I for one hunt with a 12ga shotgun with deer slugs. However, I definitely do NOT crawl around on my stomach while hunting them. More likely to be sitting up in a tree stand sitting on my butt.
If Kerry comes here to deer hunt, he won't crawl far. Some of the guys around here shoot at anything that moves.
Kerry's athletic prowess leaves a lot to be desired. Yesterday's 50 ft pitch low and far outside. LMAO I'm 65 yrs old and can still throw a pitch from the mound in excess of 60 miles and hour. Kerry is such a wuss.

uh....how many people actually hunt deer with a 12-guage??????????? In MA the only things you can have in the woods are shotguns and .22s. It's the law.
But I'm willing to bet that Kerry never went deer hunting in MA or any other state.

I've killed at least 10 deer with a 12-gauge. In the deep south, most deer are killed with shotguns and buckshot. (I have to add, I've never shot one while crawling along on my belly.....)
